Jeni's Ice Creams wins praise in reviews for its ultra-creamy texture, inventive flavors like Brambleberry Crisp, Gooey Butter Cake, and Brown Butter Almond Brittle, and strong dairy-free/gluten-free options—so yes, the brand is good. Reviews also flag drawbacks: many find it very sweet and rich, inconsistently punchy by flavor, prone to freezer burn or iciness in pints, and expensive compared to alternatives.

A good cost effective alternative to buying Jeni's by the scoop, but I prefer ice cream brands that also incorporate eggs for that added richness and creaminess (looking at you Van Leeuwen!)
These ice creams stand out because of their unique and creative flavors. In general, the flavors are well balanced, though some are a bit too unusual for me. I tried one dairy free flavor that was good but needed to soften on the counter before scooping.
Delicious, innovative flavors. My favorites include RBFY and brambleberry crisp, though I enjoy their seasonal rotating flavors as well. A bit on the pricey end.
My favorite ice cream- both in the brick and mortar and when I buy it in a pint. Their flavors are so creative.
When I lived in LA a few years ago, I discovered this delicious and fun brand before it arrived in grocery stores. It became our go-to treat after a nice dinner. I no longer live in LA, but I'm grateful that I can find Jeni's ice cream almost everywhere.

Brambleberry is unbeatable. So creamy and delicious.
The flavor options are extremely unique! But some flavors are much too salty and sometimes taste grainy rather than creamy
My absolute FAVORITE ice cream! I don't live near a Jeni's, so I have to order the pints for delivery to satisfy my cravings. On a recent vacation, we just happened to walk by one of their storefronts and I just about lost my mind. SO glad I could have that in-store experience - it was just as delicious at home and in the store. Can't wait to try their new flavors - my favorite so far is Brambleberry Crisp and their dairy free cold brew flavor!
Love the store and love that I can get in the grocery store too! A little pricey but so worth it in comparison to other brands. I like to leave it out for a bit to get the same scoop shop consistency that I love.
Mileage definitely varies by flavor. For example I think some of their more unique flavors slap (gooey butter cake, birthday cake, maple pancake) while some of their basic flavors don't hit as much as the same from less expensive brands (salted peanut butter with chocolate flecks). It's regularly at sale at whole foods and would recommend getting it there vs at the store (where you'll pay approx. $6 for a scoop!)
Very tasty

Delicious ice cream, unique flavors. Boston Cream Pie is a personal favorite.
YOU NEED THIS ICE CREAM. The flavors are out of this world and they actually taste like the name. I've definitely eaten a full pint in one sitting because of how delicious these ice creams are. Also the packaging is so eye catching and cute in stores.
