I haven't personally bought anything from Hot Topic in years, but it was an important part of my teen years because of all the different kinds of branded merchandise that they carry. It was the store I shopped at after I was over buying clothes from Justice that were pink and sparkly. I still have a good handful of shirts from here that have held up including ones from Adventure Time and My Little Pony. I also have a wallet that I've used nonstop for over a decade that's still going despite being all taped up. The only thing I remember not liking from Hot Topic were their earbuds because I had these really cool metallic Rainbow Dash ones that broke in a month or two.
