We actually bought our last year towards the end of summer and never went to the beach again, classic mistake. That being said, we used it for the first time this weekend, and my husband and I spent the entire day switching back and forth on it because it is so comfortable to sit on! We ordered a second one while sitting on the beach. The different angles it adjusts to are great, and it's even comfortable to use at a low angle as a headrest while you're lying down. One benefit I didn't think of is that you're lower to the ground, so you don't feel like you're hovering over any friends who didn't bring a beach chair.
