GoMacro Reviews

4.0

GoMacro earns strong reviews for clean, organic, plant‑based bars that taste satisfying—standouts include Oatmeal Chocolate Chip, Coconut + Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter, Lemon, and Salted Caramel—so the brand is good for on‑the‑go fuel and gentle digestion. Reviews also flag drawbacks: dense, chewy or sticky texture, inconsistent flavors, high calories and added sugars, and modest protein for a “protein bar,” making it better as a snack or light meal than a high‑protein option.

These protein bars are tasty. They are high in protein but still high in calories and carbohydrates. The peanut butter flavor is tasty and it’s my favorite taste. I like to eat these before working out for energy.

This is my family’s go-to brand for bars. Organic, gluten free, barely processed at all, delicious, satisfying and they make us feel great! Yes, they’re a little pricey, but I watch out for sales and stock up.

I had a phase where these were my go to snack in my lunch pack for work. I think I kind of over did it lol 🤣 but they are so good! I love the chips are not hard at all which is quite surprising for me! Most bars have hard chips. It’s nice to bite down and it be nice that way. Good flavor and good taste and I usually have 1/2. A small amount goes a long way. I am not highest fan oatmeal and that comes from having waaay to much oatmeal in past years. To each their own! :)

I love the GoMacro kids or mini sized bars. They are a great way to get a quick snack in that has a good protein to sugar ratio. I just wish they would make more of the flavors offered in the big bars in the kid or mini sizes. The small ones are also hard to find in store which is another area they could use some improvement.
