These were a Friday night staple of my childhood. My Mum would go to the supermarket after work and pick up a rotisserie chicken. We'd always have it with a Caesar salad made with an ET TU salad kit. It's not gourmet, and you should absolutely make the dressing yourself if you have time. However ET TU salad kits are peak comfort food. I love the bacon flavoured bits, the parmesan and the dressing is so creamy. I think ET TU Caesar's kits are one of the main reasons caesar salad is to this day one of my favourite dishes to eat. š„ My go to caesar dressing recipe: - Add an egg yolk, 1 chopped garlic clove, 2 or 3 anchovies, a teaspoon of mustard and the juice of 1 lemon to the bottom of a food processor / blender. -Blend and gradually add olive oil until it has the right consistency. Season with black pepper. Enjoy.
