Listen, if you have a bunch of IoT devices around your house and they don't respond you absolutely need to upgrade your wifi. Don't rely on that router the cable company gave you. I was using an older mesh wifi system from a highly rated competitor and made the upgrade to the Eero Pro 7 and it's been night and day. All my HomePod siri requests work seamlessly, the lights turn on, the internet is fast. Do your entire family a favor and upgrade to the Eero.
