  • I’m a huge chai fan—and while I love making my own from scratch, sometimes I just want the ritual without the extra steps. I was excited to try the dona small batch chai concentrate, handcrafted with fresh, real-ground spices. The flavor is beautiful—true to chai, with just enough sweetness to highlight the spices without feeling syrupy. For my personal taste, it’s a little softer than a traditional *concentrated* chai (I love my spice loud!), but it still makes a delicious 1:1 drink with milk. Pro tip: I add a shot of espresso for a dirty chai, and it really wakes up those beautiful chai spices and makes for a bolder, more rounded flavor. Plus, dirty chai is my actual favorite drink! Convenient, thoughtfully crafted, and packed with real ingredients—this concentrate has become one of my favorite morning rituals. Product is gifted, opinions are my own.

  • I placed an order with Drink Dona on 11/10/25. It is now 11/25/25 and my order has NOT shipped and there is NO shipping information. This was a gift and it is now to late to order something else that would arrive on time. I've reach out to customer service via email and they have NOT responded (I can not find a phone number for them). UNACCEPTABLE. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

  • Beautiful packaging, great idea, but the taste is just okay. I got the masala chai concentrate and thought the flavor was not spiced enough. Especially for the price, I was hoping for a better taste. If you can, go to a local Indian grocery store and get one of the chair powders - way better result.

  • I have tried a lot of masala chai companies, and this is probably my least favorite. With a concentrate, you expect that it’s going to be super flavorful and, well, concentrated. I didn’t find this to be spicy enough and the flavor was lost once you mixed it with milk. Try Soul Chai instead, or even the liquid concentrate from TJ’s (although it’s pretty sweet).
