  • I love these so much! Now that I’ve used them I don’t want to go back to using just a regular towel. I love bringing these on the go, especially to hotels. I love feeling fresh in the mornings using these!

  • I randomly picked the Clean2 pads on Amazon the last time I ran out of (what I call) cotton blobs. I saw “XL” and “dual textured” and thought sure sign me up. These arrive…two of the littlest boxes you’ve ever seen! I must have the reading comprehension skills of a small child because I did NOT notice how few pads you actually receive. It’s laughable. Current price on these bad boys is marked down for prime day to $11.90, but they’re normally $15. In two 60 count boxes, for $15, you’re spending about $.13 a square. Most other basic cotton pads are about $.02 a round (or blob) so it’s a pretty steep markup for these puppies. I haven’t noticed anything better about these squares other than they are larger, but in turn, you feel like a wasteful fool!

  • Halfway through my first box and I'm definitely liking them so far. I've heard people rave about these, but have always been hesitant because they seemed so wasteful. People don't talk about how they are biodegradable and compostable, which is what helped me pull the trigger. It's nice knowing you always have a clean towel for your face and I reuse them to wipe down the counter, mirror, etc. before tossing.

  • WOW this is a new favorite! i kept seeing people rave about these face towels and i could not believe they can be that great but since using them for a month now i have seen my face clear up. i was experiencing some bumps and acne and i feel its helped me.

  • I use Clean Skin Club's acne patches and they really help when I have a pimple. I wear them 2-3 nights in a row and it helps avoid my pimple leaving a big mark or scaring. I think their towels are overpriced and bad for the earth.

  • Ok, let’s get technical. These towels are essentially made from viscose - fabric that requires a lot of caustic chemicals to create. It has a bad impact on the environment as well as workers health. Company doesn’t seem to have any certification to show that they use a closed loop system (capturing the chemicals instead of releasing them into the environment), or that they use sustainably managed forests for their eucalyptus version. Also, boxes come shrink wrapped in plastic. Essentially, these towels are in no way environmentally friendly - at least don’t kid yourself with that. I always knock off some stars for green washing or manipulative marketing techniques. When it comes to disposable being better for your skin, I tend to agree. Yes if you suffer from acne, it’s better to use disposable HOWEVER you don’t need wasteful and expensive viscose towels. I have been successfully using toilet paper to will dry my face for years. Less rubbing, more blotting! You can control which brand you buy and it’s so much cheaper too. Less chemicals. Less plastic. Same hygiene benefit for acne prone skin. Also, these towels aren’t that much softer! Especially their textured side.

  • Love these!! I never thought about how dirty towels are, even when washed. These earth-friendly disposable towels really do make a difference for my skin! They seemed pricey at first, but there are so many promotions and discounts that it made them worth it. I also love the clean face pads. I use these for toners and micellar water for a more sterile application. I am happy they are available at Target now, so I don't have to pay shipping if I am not buying much. The free travel packs of towels have come in handy!

  • I use the clean towels xl and I really like it, so far I haven't had to worry about my face towels not being clean while.wiping my face and I have 0 acne scares

  • these individual towels are super soft but durable. I’ve used them since before they added the bamboo version and, while they’re pricier, these are definitely the hero product they should stick with. no need for their face wash, etc. (sorry!) that said, the degree varies by box, but they almost always smell a little bit burnt and I don’t know why. my skin hasn’t worsened since I used the boxes that smell funky but I wonder if it has any lasting effects.
