ChopChop Family (chopchopfamily.org) is a nonprofit fueled by our mission to enrich the lives of families by inspiring them to learn fundamental skills for a full life, most importantly food literacy. We believe that if children learn healthy habits when they are young, they will build and maintain healthy lifestyles into their teenage and adult years. Our award-winning quarterly ChopChop – The Fun Cooking Magazine for Families, published in both English and Spanish, is at the heart of our work. It is ad-free and filled with delicious recipes, essential how-to’s, STEAM activities, fun food facts, interactive games, and photographs of kids making and eating good food. We are proud to work with Head Start, WIC and SNAP, hospitals, schools, Indigenous Nations, departments of health and education, community action partnerships, as well as American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), and Centers for Disease Control (CDC), among others.
