I haven’t tried a lot of other products like this so I don’t have anything to super compare this to, but I’ve had this stick for a while since I played sports and it really does help with chafing it creatures enough barrier that isn’t sticky isn’t runny. It is a balm but it’s like a deodorant when it goes on. And it stays dry. Sometimes they do have to reapply and sometimes you know with thick thighs you still get a little cheap, but I’m only giving it four stars just because I don’t have anything to compare it to to see if it’s better or not, but it’s a good product if it’s available to you
