  • We were really kindly gifted a bottle of Bermondsey Tonic Syrup for Christmas from a friend. I love the idea of Bermondsey Tonic Syrup - you simply add sparkling water to in order to make a tasty tonic for the perfect gin and tonic. The only problem is I don't love the taste. It's certainly a more sophisticated taste than a typical Schweppes or Fever-Tree tonic water. I just find it a little overpowering, especially with lighter gins.

I absolutely love the idea, and it's an infinitely better choice for the environment. The taste just isn't for me. I'd 100% buy Bermondsey Tonic Syrup any day if they were to launch a milder tasting variant.

  • Infinitely the best brand of tonic currently on the market. Bermondsey tonic tastes good, looks good and is a great accompaniment to any G&T. I tried the Classic, Cucumber and Grapefruit flavours and they're all divine. After some avid research, it turns out that a lot of market branded companies artificially remove the colour from their tonics to make them clear. (yes even Fever Tree) Definitely worth it! Give it a try.

  • Best tonic water I have had with a gin and worked really well with other spirits too. Highly recommend and great as a soft drink on its own.
