The Beekman 1802 Potato Peel has a very clean, earthy, and slightly herbal scent. It definitely doesn’t smell like a bag of chips! It leans more into that “fresh from the garden” spa vibe. As for the sensation, it definitely packs a light, spicy tingle. Since it uses an acid complex (AHA, BHA, and PHA) alongside potato pulp, I feel it working the moment it hits my skin. It’s a “good” sting that lets you know it’s resurfacing, but it usually settles into a cooling sensation quickly.

I was really drawn to these at first because I loved the idea behind them and the texture seemed promising, but oh my goodness—the fragrance completely ruined the experience for me. I don’t think I’ve ever come across a facial wipe that was so heavily perfumed before. The scent is so strong and overpowering that it lingers long after use, and instead of feeling refreshed, I was left feeling overwhelmed. For something that’s supposed to be gentle and soothing on the skin, the fragrance level is just far too much and really takes away from what could have been a great product.

Super happy with this moisturizer, so much that my parents are obsessed with it too. I love that it is 100% clean, does not have any funny ingredients and it really leaves my skin hydrated. I use it daily and have been for a few years now!
Honey & Orange Blossom is such a lovely fruity scent! It’s not super strong but a soft citrusy and slightly floral scent. I don’t think the smell lasts for a super long time but if you layer it with the Beekman lotion or body wash, it will last you longer. The mist is lightweight and doesn’t make my skin feel greasy at all, I like it because it doesn’t make my skin feel sticky either. I’ve tried the other scents too and they’re all lovely but this one is my personal favorite since it’s refreshing and perfect for spring. I know people like to use these instead of lotion but my dry skin could never so I can’t attest to how well they work alone for moisture!!
