BASIUM is the latin word for the kiss, and everything we put on our bodies should feel like that: Pure, conscious and intimate. Combining a passion for aromatherapy, natural perfumery and holistic self-care, BASIUM began at home and has since slowly evolved into a carefully curated range that is produced in our artisanal laboratory in the UK. Our organic self-care products empower people to take good care of themselves and the environment at the same time. We are focussed on developing relationships on every step of our way; Engaging and learning from the people who grow and harvest our ingredients whilst collaborating with and building a community of like minded people. Our mission is to revive people’s interest in nature and create an understanding of the origin of our products. While we are making sure our products have been formulated with organic, vegan and cruelty-free ingredients, we are also doing our utmost to limit our environmental footprint. Our goal is to remove any plastic usage from within our product range and to find suppliers for our bottles, lids and packaging that only use recycled or sustainable materials and to source as many local and seasonal ingredients as possible.
