I have the steam toaster (apparently they sell a lot more products in Japan) and I absolutely love it! The steam technology enables it to make the perfect toast such that it’s crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. Goes amazing with Asian styled milk breads and reheating overnight leftover pizzas — I’d even argue that the leftover pizzas taste even better than the night before!

The Balmuda lives up to its cult status. It’s compact, beautifully designed, and somehow makes everything—from toast to reheated pizza—taste like it just came out of a professional kitchen. The steam feature is a game changer. It’s pricey, but once you use it, there’s no going back.
