Reviews mention

  • Durable, washable construction
  • Lightweight, compact packability
  • Playful, distinctive prints
  • Versatile everyday functionality
  • Slippery, short straps
  • Unattached storage pouch
  • Staining on lighter colors
  • Crinkly, unstructured nylon

BAGGU earns enthusiastic reviews for durable, washable bags—like the Standard Baggu, Duck Bag, and Medium Nylon Crescent—that carry heavy loads, fold flat, and come in playful prints and notable collabs (Hello Kitty, Sandy Liang). Reviews also flag design drawbacks: classic shoppers’ straps slip or feel short, pouches aren’t attached and get lost, lighter colors stain, some nylon feels crinkly, and a few items (tents, certain accessories) underperform.

  • Perfect for when you have a lot to carry but don’t want to look like you have a lot to carry. Bigger and more fashionable than a lulu belt bag, but depending on your style could still be hands free! Most practical thing I own.

  • Obsessed. I have a baggu shopper bag with me at all times. I use it probably 3 times a week

  • I use the mini puffer tote as my everyday bag I literally have not found a more perfect bag and I have a coat rack full of them! I also use the cloud tote when I need more space and the puffy cooler for on the go! Even with daily use my mini puffer tote is still in the best shape and going strong. Now I just want more colors!

  • I have yet to come across a Baggu product I don't like. My latest obsession have been their packing cubes and packing pouches. They making organizing my suitcase so easy and come in fun colors/prints. I don't feel like I am going to easily rip them if I overstuff them and they are easy to clean in the washing machine. Baggu forever and ever.

  • One of my most favorite brand discoveries of 2023! All of their products are so well made and the prints are so fun! I have their medium crescent crossbody bag and some pouches and they’re such high quality. I used them everyday and for travel and they still look brand new!

  • I bought the crescent baggu in black to take on a trip abroad for 2 weeks. This bag was easy to pack, light, and not bulky. It fit everything! Probably my favorite bag I own.

  • The standard size bags are fantastic. They hold far more stuff than you might think. I have three and always have at least one stashed in my purse or work bag. You never know when they’ll come in handy. Lately I haven’t loved the new designs, however. I wish they would bring back some of the older ones with simpler patterns.

  • Great patterns and collaborations plus super durable. Their bags are timeless, and generally add some fun into the mix.

  • This is one of the things I use the most on a weekly basis! I was gifted my Baggu and take it with me everywhere I go. Size is great (even the grocery store people get surprised with how much fits in it!) and there’s always a little nook you can fit it in.

  • Perfect to carry around so you can say no to those plastic bags at any time! I have had mine for few years and planning to get a couple more to keep in the car!

  • I was gifted a Bagoo bag and I love it. It’s always in my handbag and it’s really convenient when you go to a store and need a bag. They are high-quality and can carry heavy items. I’m going to get another one. They are almost better than my canvas bags.

  • Literally every bag I own is Bagu! I have the cross body, a denim shopping tote, a backpack a lap top sleeve … take all my money! They are durable cute and they all somehow come in the colour I need / want. I’ve worn my crossbody every day for a year and she looks perfect still.

  • Solid quality grocery bags, small artists use this as a base product to print their art on top of

  • A new spin on the ever popular canvas bag! I love these specifically because if something ever spills within the bag, they are tremendously easier to clean than canvas.

  • I LOVE my medium nylon crescent bag and it surprisingly fits a lot. I can cram a book, a makeup bag, a water bottle, keys, phone, wallet and headphones in it. It's my go-to when I want something smaller than a tote bag, and I like that the strap is adjustable. I would definitely get another in a different color. I think the crescent bag is worth it, but I wish I liked other Baggu products more than I actually do. The brand is a bit pricey. Some of their products aren't particularly exceptional to justify the price points. I had a duck bag and found myself opting for any other tote bag first. It could just be that I got a pattern that I didn't love in the long run. I also bought the nylon wallet because I was looking for something compact, but the velcro is so loud and I would always get a little embarrassed pulling it out lol.

  • I consider myself a BAGGU superfan and have been collecting their bags for years! Every season I'll treat myself to a new print and I have a little library of cute totes. It's a small but lovely treat I look forward to-- plus, they are endlessly handy! My favorite tote to collect is the Baby BAGGU, but I also love their crossbody bags, duck totes, travel Cloud bag, even their home items like towels, napkins, and socks! Back when they had their leather bags I got a few zip clutches and a crossbody leather bag which is still one of my best accessories. BAGGU is freakin the best. Such a good gift-- everyone loves them. If you see a print or item you like, buy it immediately because they don't always come back after they're sold out!

  • Great reusable bags that can be folded back down to a small square to carry in your bag. You can machine wash them. I carried heavy groceries in them & they withstood the weight.

  • To have a BAGGU is to love them. I received my first one as a part of a gift box for a birthday from friends and it has lived in every bag I've ever taken out for the day or night with me since. It is orange with cheetahs on it and it is everything. I have a smaller size, and it fits so much. Each time I try to test if something will be too heavy for it, and it prevails. I love how easy it is to fold up into itself and how small it folds up to. Living in NYC and a fan of walking around and public transportation, it is so helpful to be able to pick things up throughout the day and not have to worry about not having a bag, or worrying about the reliability of the one given. I will buy infinitely more BAGGU products and they always come out with cute colors, prints, and styles. Plus, I feel like I've saved out on non sustainable bags, because I always have this one with me.

  • I love all the products I have tried from them! They feel super high quality, the stitching and craftsmanship is great and I feel like the bags will hold up for a long time. I love the design of the standard Baggu tote bags because the shape doesn’t make you worry about the handles ever ripping, they are easy to carry, and are actually easy to fold back up. The socks are also great and super comfy I wear them all the time.

  • Baggu has cornered the market on chic, sustainable, and durable plastic bag replacements. The standard Baggu is perfect for grocery shopping and thing-hauling while the Baby Baggu is particularly good at holding fruits and veggies or tossed in your bag or vehicle for spur-of-the-moment purchases or carrying needs. The ripstop nylon has a heavy weight limit and when they are dirty can be washed with warm water and soap and hung over a chair back to dry. Where Baggu is less successful are their travel pouches. They have odd shapes that aren't terribly useful to put travel items in - or take them out of - during a trip. I have used the go-pouch, flat pouch and 3d cubes - none of them worth the hefty price tag. The price-per-use just isn't there. Stick with the standard Baggus, Baggu!
