Reviews mention

  • Convincing beer-like flavor profile
  • Wide, innovative style selection
  • Clear nutritional labeling information
  • Consistently hoppy, robust taste
  • Overly hoppy flavor across styles
  • Occasional shallow flavor depth
  • Carbonation fades relatively quickly
  • Foamy texture causing bloating

Athletic Brewing earns strong reviews for tasting convincingly like “real” beer—with standouts like Run Wild IPA, Free Wave Hazy, Upside Dawn, and All Out—making it a reliable choice for cutting back on alcohol without sacrificing flavor. Reviews also note drawbacks: some find flavors overly hoppy or lacking depth versus regular beer, carbonation can fade and beers can feel foamy/bloating, and the 0.5% ABV isn’t suitable for those needing 0.0%.

  • I am 10 months sober and I owe a lot of my continued sobriety to this brand. Craft beers have always been a draw for me and when I finally decided to get sober, I was disappointed that I would have to give up microbrews, IPAs, Pilsners, etc. Luckily, I stumbled upon the Athletic Brewing brand. Their Run Wild IPA is my favorite, and is a hoppy delight, which I was greatly missing. The Athletic Lite near beer is perfect for when you want a light, pilsner taste, and to cool off in the summer. On top of that, they release seasonal brews including sours. I also respect/admire their values and the fact that they have a "two for the trails" initiative that donates 2% of all sales to trail and park cleanups. Definitely give this brand a try if you are looking to cut back on alcohol but miss that "beer taste".

  • Extremely good tasting Non Alcoholic Beer. A lot of other NA Beers are not flavorful and you can immediately taste the difference. Blind fast test this beer and you will never know the difference, or maybe you will. Cause it tastes better than regular beers.

  • Athletic is consistently the best NA beer brand in the market. Free Wave is my favorite staple, but they're always releasing pilots and limited edition beers that I never feel bored!

  • Athletic Brewing is one of my favorite non-alcoholic beverages to drink. It's the only non-alcoholic beer that I've tried that tastes sooo close to the real thing. It's really yummy and I find myself often grabbing this instead of alcoholic beer.
