Reviews mention

  • Washable covers, stain-repellent fabric
  • Lightweight modular construction
  • Customizable configurations, intuitive assembly
  • Family-friendly, pet-resistant durability
  • Inconsistent comfort, overly firm cushions
  • Cushion slippage, poor alignment
  • Exposed bars, thin padding
  • Cover pilling, material degradation

Anabei earns polarized reviews: fans praise its modular, washable design that shrugs off spills, pet hair, and daily chaos, while critics report unforgiving firmness, shifting cushions, exposed metal bars, and structural failures. Reviews indicate the brand can be exceptionally practical and easy to assemble and reconfigure, but comfort inconsistency, pilling covers, and component alignment issues make it risky if plush lounging is the priority.

  • "I went down a full rabbit hole trying to find a sofa that checked all the boxes... comfort, durability, and something I wouldn’t panic over every time someone sat down with food. At first, I was a little nervous about the lighter fabric we chose. It did get a small stain within the first week (of course 😅), and spot cleaning didn’t fully take it out. BUT I threw the cover in the wash and it came out completely clean, which honestly sold me right there."

  • It’s been over a month since I got this sectional, and I have to say - I’m genuinely impressed!! I have two dogs, and like any pets, they shed, run around, and occasionally cause spills. Despite all that, this sectional has handled everything incredibly well while still being super comfortable. The slipcovers are super easy to remove and clean, which has been a huge plus. I even ended up buying extra slipcovers so I can switch up the look whenever I want! Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase. If you’re looking for a durable, comfortable, and truly pet-friendly couch, this is definitely the one!

  • After living with my new sectional for a couple weeks. I can confidently say it's an exceptional couch. It had a stress free setup, and it is incredibly durable, I have zero complaints. As I said, the assembly was incredibly easy due to the modular design. The individual sections allowed me to maneuver around the room, experimenting on different layouts until I found the perfect design for my space. Another standout is the fabric, as I did have a mishap with a drink. The liquid beaded up and rolled off of the cushion without leaving a trace; proving that this couch was made for real life. Beyond the practical features of the couch, it is also extremely comfortable. I have found it to be comfortable for relaxing. And even a nap. Leaving the ottoman to be independent has allowed for visitors to share it or move it to the section that they prefer.

  • I bought this sofa for a few reasons: 1) price point, it was too hard to pass and 2) removable and washable covers. The design of it is a plus, as it's different than your typical sofa but still aesthetically pleasing. Once it arrived and I assmebled it, I knew I made the right choice. It looks stunning in our home, the color is absolutely beautiful! The fabric is super soft, and the back pillows and cushions are more plush and comfortable than I ever imagined they could bee. And I can clean it!!! Im very pleased with my purchase.

  • I am a designer that works in staging and I initially came across anabei because I couldn’t believe the price for this look. I’ve used maiden home and six penny sofas before but with the nature of staging you have to move the product so often it easily gets dirty and moving it is always a pain. I’ve SO happy with my anabei products i’ve purchased. The washable layers are a game changer and i’ve cleaned lots of stains out from open houses so easily. I’ve worked in this industry for a long time and stains are simply unavoidable but being able to easily clean them is a huge deal. Also the fact that’s it so modular and i can super easily break it down and carry it myself is a game changer. I used to have to bring in help to move my seating but now i can do it 100% on my own. Really really impressed with this brand. The product is quality and the pricepoint is insane. Not sure how they do it to be honest. Highly recommend!

  • I purchased an Anabei sofa in September 2025, and within less than two months, it failed structurally. The back pillows compress completely flat immediately upon use, and the seat cushions constantly slide forward, leaving large gaps. This is a clear mechanical failure, not a matter of subjective comfort. My experience with their support has been deceptive and unprofessional. It is impossible to reach this company by phone; I left detailed voicemails asking for help, but they were ignored, forcing me to handle everything via email. On December 18, the support team confirmed in writing that my order was under warranty and explicitly promised to "assist by offering a replacement for the affected components" However, the representative, Germaine, subsequently pulled a complete bait-and-switch. She backtracked on the written promise, dismissively told me the issue was just my "subjective" opinion, and refused to send the replacements unless I paid for them (offering only a ridiculous discount). When I called out this dishonest behavior and demanded to speak to a manager, she sent me a scheduling link that showed absolutely zero availability on the calendar. They are now refusing a refund by citing a 30-day return policy, despite the fact that the product is defective and they previously admitted it was a warranty issue.

  • Very hard to understand how someone would charge almost 4k for this couch! I did get it on sale but but even that wasn't worth it! It's all unboxed and put together so I can't return it! It took 8 hrs to put together! I now have to get foam or some kind of cushion to wrap these bars! It hurts so bad to lay on its ridiculous! These reviews you see every where about this are false! They are not valid at all! Keep looking for your couch don't give up but definitely don't settle for this cheap crap! It's a headache and backache literally!

  • 1 star - Anabei Sectional. DO NOT BUY. Most uncomfortable couch ever. This couch is a complete disappointment and easily the most uncomfortable piece of furniture we've ever purchased. It's extremely firm—borderline unusable—and has not softened at all despite months of trying to "break it in." Sitting feels like being on a park bench with a thin cover of leaves. Laying down? Forget it. The back and top cushions constantly shift out of place, so you end up lying on the exposed metal frame. The whole couch moves when you try to rest on it, making it impossible to relax. The company's solution? "Buy some Velcro." The provided straps to hold the sections together barely work, and the pieces don't stay aligned. We wanted so badly to love this couch, but it's simply not worth the money. If you're looking for something remotely comfortable or functional, do not buy this couch. Save yourself the frustration and find something else. The only mistake bigger than buying it was waiting too long to return it.

  • I completely agree with the sentiment of the previous review. When researching this couch, I was surprised to find very few reviews aside from a few tiktok creator reviews that convinced me to give it a try. After having it for 4 months now, I can say it is by far the most uncomfortable couch I’ve ever had. The cover material is already pilling and you can’t lay down on it without feeling like you’re laying directly on the metal bars. We’ve even had guests comment on the discomfort. I reached out to customer support about it to see if they could offer any solution and they suggested we pay for additional layers of ‘cloud like’ comfort foam. This is wild, considering the price we already paid for a product that has one primary purpose: comfort. Also, like many others, I thought it was on a great 60% off sale when I purchased, but it’s just a shady marketing tactic. They’ve been running the same ‘sale’ for at least the past year since I first started looking at it. If you’re looking for something to be your primary living/lounging couch, this unfortunately is not it.
