  • I honestly didn’t expect to like this since I’m not a vegetarian, but it was definitely something I’d buy again. I tried two different breakfast sandwiches and if you’d have told me it was take-out I wouldn’t have even questioned it. It doesn’t taste plant based at all. AT. ALL. The chicken and waffle was sweet and crunchy, so yummy. The sausage, egg and cheese was very much like a famous fast food restaurant that I’ve been eating since childhood. Alpha tastes better if you ask me. The best part is that it’s convenient, fast and made with good, quality ingredients! I’m giving it an enthusiastic HECK YEAH! 👍🏻 I found it in the frozen section at Sprouts.

  • As a long time vegan, I am not a fan of meat substitutes because they taste 'too real' for my liking. However, Alpha Foods is a surprisingly good middle ground between meat alternative and veggie food. While I could talk about the two products I tried, I think my boyfriend's very positive experience is more appropriate for this review. I am not exaggerating, he has tried over 10 different product from Alpha. This includes their breakfast sandwiches, tamales, meatballs, mac n' cheese, etc. He has loved all of it, from their mild selections to spicy. He's a more recent vegan so he really enjoys eating meat-like products and this is his most special brand. Since I own the account however, I think it is more reasonable to give them 4 points instead of a perfect score of 5. I think many people should give it a shot to see where they fall.

  • I tried these nuggets two ways: microwaved and heated in a toaster oven. The second option takes longer but definitely worth it if you have the time! The seasoning is mild, and the flavor almost reminds me of Thanksgiving stuffing. I will say these are on the salty side and don't contain as much protein as I would like. I saw the Chicken Run nuggets in the green and yellow pouch say "updated recipe", so I'm not sure if the original nuggets contain more protein.
