For the nerds among us, Poly(methyl methacrylate) jewelry — or lucite. Also used in the Monterey aquarium, and viewing ports in a bathyscape that went to the bottom of the Mariana Trench. Here, it makes rather nice jewelry. I’ve found some items to be rather gaudy (depending on the amount of gold plating used), but the bracelets have been very nice. The non-hinged (unhinged?) ones have a small diameter so be aware. Not worth paying full price; recommend looking for sales.

Adore Alexis Bittar! There should be more reviews here for Alexis! I’m glad that I came here to review him! He has FANTASTIC jewelry. Beautiful. Every time that Alexis lists another new purse or piece of jewelry- want! He’s very creative. One of my favorite pieces is a vintage, Lucite, circular pendant on a gold chain. Highly recommend checking this designer out on IG. He has a unique collection of jewelry. Great advertising- he’s super fun. And really personable. His brand is more on the luxury end. Love him & his designs!

Be forewarned that the lucite bangles (without the hinge) are TINY. You need to have the hand of a 7 yr old to get that bangle through. It’s absolutely ridiculous that they can’t figure out what the typical hand size is of an average adult woman. The earrings I bought were lovely. But all in all the level of quality doesn’t match the high price.
I purchased a gold-plated bangle from this brand. It is a great statement piece to wear to evens and functions. They have unique designs.
