Things were bad from beginning to end. First they screwed up with the order and products were missing. It took them two months and countless emails and follow ups to fix this. The flavours are very artificial. But that being said the technology works. You drink plain water but get the impression of flavoured water. The clear bottle tarnished after only 2-3 months and the cap broke. Definitely don’t recommend. Total waste of money.

I purchased a starter set and a few extra flavour pods to have a chance to sample other flavours. I like drinking water but I also love flavoured water and wanted to give this system a try. The design of the bottle is quite nice and you can see they put a lot of thought into it. Filled the bottle the I popped in the first flavour pod. It absolutely was not at all to my liking—there was a strange, very unnatural odour (nothing to do with the intended aroma of the pods) that overwhelmed my senses. It made the water taste awful — to the point that I couldn’t get past it. I immediately removed the pod. I opened another flavour thinking it was just that one flavour pod. Nope, same terrible smell hit my nose. Tried another, same thing. It was bad enough that I felts but nauseous so I gave up totally on opening the last package. I contacted the “Returns department” who emailed me back with a friendly reply. But instead of offering me a 14-day “no questions asked” return policy, they insisted I try the Cola flavour instead and sent one out that same day despite that I had immediately replied declining their offer (I never cared for Coke in my life) and restated that I’d prefer to go ahead with the return. I never heard back from them. Their website states that you are free to return your order, no questions asked, and to go to their Returns page for an approval first. Also, you must pay the return shipping. And they won’t refund any opened flavour pods packages. And being as they won’t return my emails it looks like they just basically take your money and turn their back on you. Sad experience. Not only for their lack of ethics, but to also to lose money because a company is only interested in taking your money with no regard to offer customer satisfaction. To be deluded by a potentially interesting prudent that you would have hoped to enjoy is also disappointing. Surely I’m not the only one that finds their flavours to be overwhelmingly full of unappealing chemical odor. Even bad water tastes better than water with these pods. :(

DO NOT BUY!!! Product is defective and you won’t get your money back!!! Trust me when I say this…I WISH I COULD GET MY $100 BACK!

Received my bottle today. Wish I’d come here before spending a fortune on the bottle and a couple of flavour pods. My issue isn’t with the flavour pods (so far have only tried watermelon which is okay) but drinking from the bottle. It’s like sucking up the dregs of a glass or trying to suck through a straw with holes in… and the noise!!! Not sure if I can even sit in the office and drink from this. Wish I had known before I ordered….. my kids think it’s great though 🤷🏼‍♀️🙄

Never received it… dont waste your money

I personally love the bottle, it’s a change from regular water and the flavours are so good (except orange cream i just hate vanilla). The pods last quite a while. Personally, the only problem for me is when pod is up the water sucking up the straw isn’t a continuous flow, but i don’t really mind it! I would recommend if u want a higher water intake. Also, customer support is lovely and delivery was fast.

Other than a decent quality bottle, this didn’t really do much. The scents were nice and pleasant, but for me they didn’t affect the taste much.

Saw a lot of sponsorships on social media, decided to give it a try, Ordered a Gen 2 bottle as a replacement for my old bottle, the shipping got delayed and when it finally arrived I decided to give it a try, absolutely hated it. The pods taste like plain water. Viewed the support page and nothing helped. I went to look at the reviews and turns out a lot of people have problems. I can’t even return it because of the 0 return policy. I am very disappointed and have wasted 50€. Please, do not buy this stupid product and don’t trust the sponsorships or reviews on the original site. At least it looks cool.

this is HORRIBLE. stupidly, i belived the air up sponsorships and got a bottle for chrsitmas , as well my friends too. the bottle has a vacuum hole in the straw that’s only covered when the pod is down, so when the pod is up i can’t drink any water to even TASTE the ‘flavour.’ my friends are also experiencing this problem too. when i sucked hard enough to get a tiny sip of water, the flavour pod barely gave any taste to it, even when i breathed in as hard as i could; it was the same.

i got my air up for christmas and i absolutely love it! so far i’ve only tried the watermelon flavor, which is really good (though if you don’t like artificial watermelon taste then it’s of course not for you)! it’s not a super strong flavor and you can obviously still taste the water “flavor”, but the concept and execution are really good! can’t wait to try more flavors :)

I ordered a bottle and several pods and was horrified at the chemical flavor. I already assumed it wouldn’t live up to its marketing claims but I was not prepared for the flavor profile to be ethanol. What a scam!

I came here to see if other people thought this product was junk but after reading the positive reviews about making sure you get bubbles while drinking I can now taste/sense the flavour! Just hope I don’t get the mould issue people are having. 🤞🏻

LaCroix has more flavor than this scam. DO NOT BUY. One thing that people need to know if they do buy this product is that THE PODS DO NOT FLAVOR THE WATER. The water is going to taste the exact same as if you drank it out of a glass. The key to “tasting the flavor” is to inhale some air bubbles while drinking and then perceive that those air bubbles flavor the water. If you are not good at perceiving, do not buy. And before you ask, I did set it up correctly and I did try multiple pods. The air bubbles you get when sipping, DO NOT FLAVOR THE WATER. And the pods don’t vary in intensity because the “flavor” is not intense. Also, they don’t accept returns because they don’t want any of their crappy product back. If this product worked as advertised, then they would not be afraid to have a return policy because no one would be wanting to return the product. The only positive I can come up with from this product is that the bottle looks cool and some of the pods smell good. If I was AirUp, I would give up on the water bottle idea and create a line of air fresheners.

Bought one for my son Christmas straw broken and pods taste like nothing waste of money I want refund

I tried to buy one for my daughter - I made a mistake and the wrong shipping address was entered. Guess what - they will NOT change the address OR cancel the order. I'll never support this company.

Disgusting flavor, no return policy. I suspected that maybe it was only me that couldn't taste anything but the faint flavor of chemicals. If I could taste it, it was disgusting, if it wasn't disgusting, I only tasted water. I suspected maybe different people have different perception of flavors? So, I let my entire family try it, and there was no different verdict other than "this is awful." Do not waste your money on this, because when you find out that it sucks, they'll hit you with a "oh I'm sorry but due to the nature of the product we can't accept returns of opened packages for the safety of our customers" or whatever as if autoclaves or even just boiling water doesn't exist. The water bottle itself feels good, but it's just that now; a SEVERELY overpriced water bottle. STAY AWAY!

it is an over priced water bottle. the smell stuff only sometimes works when the bubbles actaully activate but 90% of the time it does not work. also if you wanna try it out you have to buy it. that would be fine if there was returns, but there isn't. you can not return the air up water bottle. I emailed them and they basically told me I'm stupid bc I didn't set it up right. dogshit company I don't get why so many youtubers pretend to use it bc it is a scam

I’m autistic, and drinking water has always been a massive problem for me. I’ve always despised the taste and have often resorted to flavouring my water with dilute juice, lemon, sugar and other substances. I bought this product as a hope of being able to get just water into my system without the need for anything else and was massively disappointed. I’m still able to distinguish the taste of water and the smell of the pod used, which is Cherry. With the pod pressed down or up, there is no difference. Devastated. The only good thing out of this is that I’ve got myself a new bottle, otherwise, not great at all.
