Aesop earns strong reviews for luxurious scents, elegant packaging, and body-care standouts like Resurrection and Reverence Aromatique Hand Washes, yet opinions split on value. Reviews praise sensorial formulas that feel indulgent and often effective for hands and body, while noting weaknesses: high prices, plastic/leaky pumps, perfumes with short longevity, and some skincare that irritates sensitive skin or underperforms.

Rich, complex fragrances that complement the wearer beautifully. Distinct enough that they don’t feel particularly masculine or feminine. I’ve purchased their hand soap and a parfum and have been thoroughly impressed with both.

Expensive — but luxurious!

Their store experience is great, product scent is great too. Formulation is perfect for a lot of plant-based lover out there, and I have splurge their facial washes specifically their Parsley Seed facial cleanser, i would not recommend the mandarin moisturizers as a base for any of your makeup routine. But it’s something you can use by itself on your days you dont want to wear any make up on. The smell is also very relaxing. But all in all, its worth the money, especially for vegans

Aesop is beyond luxury and a great way to impress guests in your home -- ESPECIALLY if out any of the hand soap in the bathroom. Both the small and texture feel super premium and you can also tell you're giving your hands a good scrub. The room spray is also top notch and although it doesnt eliminate odors, it can make walking into a room a joyful experience just by getting a whiff!

Obviously the price is on the high, but if you're using for certain occasions, it can definitely be a great fit! Any of their products also make great gifts for the holidays or people moving into a new home!

Aesop has the most AMAZING scents, so I love their body washes and soaps. Unfortunately though my skin doesn't react well to their skincare products (causes irritation). Packaging is very sleek, minimalistic, and gender neutral, which makes these great gifts. Definitely on the pricier side, but a little bit goes a long way.

All their products fit well with their brand. Their packaging is very simple but feels high end - great for gifting and easy to like! However, the pricing is high - even their $50+ products are on the smaller side, which makes it more challenging to create gift sets.

I love Aesop because the quality of their products is absolutely aligned to the image they put forward. Store experience, service quality and product offerings are all amazing.

A brand that is iconic for a reason - wear any of the fragrances and you are guaranteed a days worth of compliments.

Cult classic. But seriously worth your money if you want to treat yourself.

The hand washes and body washes are divine - smell and look great. They are pricey though so I don't regularly re-purchase. I steer clear of their moisturisers and other skincare products because they are packed with fragrant, essential oils so when I put on my skin, they left me inflamed and irritated.

The hand wash and body wash make a fabulous gift!

I really enjoy the quality and fragrance of this brand. The lotions are my favorite and I love to have the travel-sized lotions in my purse.

I've gone to two Aesop's store; one in Soho and the other in Short Hills Mall. The salesclerk in the Soho was extremely dismissive and the store was very dark, like I could barely see anything. The salesclerk at the location in Short Hills mall saved this brand for me. She introduced me to new fragrances and the different options available. I will definitely be coming back.

Love this brand and the quality of products.

There are sooo many products that I could form my opinion from but the one I really want to highlight is their deodorant. I’ve tried at least five clean deodorants and theirs by far works the best and lasts the longest.

Truly nothing, great company

I love Aesop - smell is very unique and the quality of soap is high. A little goes a long way. The stores are full of super helpful employees as well.
Feedback
I wish the smell was more intense on my skin.

My experice at the store was very unique. The store smelled like heaven and the employees were super polite and helpful. Overall, the quality of the products is average. Yes, they come into very nice packing which is a plus, but your regular moisturizer will do the same.

Some products can be really pricy.

It’s a good brand with a variety of products that smell and feel great on your skin. I feel refreshed after using it, and it doesn’t leave a residue on my face and body. Having said that, I would only use it if someone else about it, and I would never buy it for myself because I think it’s too expensive
Feedback
It’s marked it as very exclusive, but it doesn’t feel exclusive than other cheaper brands on the market.

Have used a range of products: cleanser, hand soap, perfume, room spray. Sleek packaging, lovely scents, fits many needs.
Feedback
Not suitable for people sensitive to scents. Expensive.

Aesops Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm has been a stable in my handbag since I can remember, nothing else I have tried feels as nourishing and smells as good. I love that it is a brand for everybody, inclusive of age and gender so my partner and I can share products.

I would love if same bottle refills were offered and it would be amazing if it could be a little more affordable.

It’s overhyped and overpriced for what it offers.
