Meet Iskra Lawrence
Each week, we check in with a different member of Thingtesting's community to ask what brands they've spotted, what they're testing, and take a peek into their recent reviews.

Hi, I’m Iskra Lawrence, founder of Saltair and Self Funding. Saltair is a body care brand created to encourage daily moments of self-care. Self funding is a movement created to help women invest in themselves and support them on their personal growth journeys with community and planning productivity products like our OG planner. I love creating brands, but my real goal is creating movements to empower and uplift women.
Going to the park with my toddler or baking.
Rivet Utility. Functional jumpsuits that are chic, comfy and cool. I wear an XL and have styles that work for winter, spring and for causal to date night. I’m obsessed! Oh, [and] every style has great pockets.
Tindle. Plant-based chicken that is delicious! I tried the brand at a recent event and was blown away - I had chicken and waffles and there was no way I could tell it was plant-based and I've tried a lot of plant-based chicken.
MAKE. I know this brand is already on Thingtesting, but it has become such a fave for my skin as well as the aesthetic it’s so cool. Unlike other brands that have a [great] hero product, everything I’ve tried from the cleansers to their thick hydrating creams are a dream and I’m particularly obsessed with their acid phas AHA solution. [It] gives me such smooth, clear skin, it’s like I did a mini peel but zero irritation. It’s liquid gold!
I’ve gotten really into making mushroom pasta with a creamy brandy sauce. It’s soooo tasty, I can’t stop making it!
Saltair’s serum body wash, my fave purple shampoo Kerestase blond absolu shampoo, my scalp massager and two cheeky samples of an up-and-coming product I’m currently testing for my brand. They’re good (shhhh).
