Sad to say these were a big letdown and actually quite disgusting. :( I’d seen veggie vice on TikTok for a while and was really excited to finally try them when i saw them at Sprouts. I love my vegetables and veggie snacks. I’ve had yummy zucchini chips before from root. But I can’t eat oil right now and all other chips have oil. So many snacks have oil! I bought both the zucchini and broccoli chips. They look clean and delicious. The zucchini ones were not good …. terrible texture, not crispy at all?, more like chewing on a packing peanut. The flavor wasn’t good either. The broccoli chips were slightly better and had more crunch. but both had a chalky texture that made them hard to swallow and enjoy. The seasoning on the broccoli didn’t taste good to me and actually upset my stomach. I REALLY wanted to like these and gave them a fair shot, but I couldn’t even finish either bag which is disappointing given the price. Good luck to the founder I hope they can improve. I do think the broccoli version has more potential but the flavoring needs a lot of work and was not as described in the videos. 🤢
I found this at Sprouts and was really hesitant about buying it just because it's $7 for one (not so big) bag. However, once I got a bogo offer I decided to try it... and I love it omg. They're super delicious, I finished the whole bag in one sitting, which was only 60 calories (no guilt). The highlight though is that it's literally only 2 ingredients: freeze dried zucchini and salt... no seed oils... I think I'm in love. It's really hard to find products like this that are exactly what you've looking for. Overall, in taste, nutrition, ingredients, I would give this brand a 5/5, it's just a little too steep in price which is why I'm giving it a 4/5. I wish they could be a regular purchase for me. I will say I've already told my boyfriend all about these, so maybe he'll get the hint and buy me another bag next time he's at Sprouts.
