I used the Truvia Allulose Plus Sweetener to make a simple syrup (1:1 ratio of sweetener to water) to use in a Margarita. I was glad that the sweetness is comparable to sugar so the ratios would be the same. It dissolve in the water at about the same rate as sugar. The sweetness level of the drink was on par with the sugar version of the syrup. It also did not leave an aftertaste from the sweetener. I have tried some other stevia based sweeteners that did leave one. The drink using Allulose plus didn’t have the same mouthfeel as the sugar version. It was flatter and not as exciting. I also used Allulose plus to sweeten a cup of coffee and had the same experience with the texture. I would only use Allulose plus in lieu of sugar if I was dieting and calorie counting. Otherwise the sugar version makes for a better drink experience.

I enjoy using this product to sweeten my oatmeal every morning. I would prefer to use a pouch of this product, but the packets are convenient for on the go. I like that this product uses Stevia, which makes me feel like I’m putting healthier ingredients into my food and body instead of artificial additives.

I like Truvia because it has a more natural taste than some other low-calorie sugar substitutes. I appreciate the variety of forms available, from liquid to powder or drops. The liquid and drop forms of Truvia are available in convenient small packages that are ideal for on-the-go use.

I just purchased the zero calorie liquid stevia made by Truvia and overall I like the product. I like that it has a minimal ingredients list and is not full of additives like other "stevia" sweeteners are.
