Established in 2019, The Gospel is a dedicated rye whiskey distillery, sourcing our rye grain from a single farm in the Murray Mallee region of South Australia, one of the driest regions in the driest country in the world. Set in the backstreets of Melbourne’s eclectic Brunswick neighbourhood, founders Ben and Andrew designed and built a distillery big enough to match their dreams, but small enough to remain hands-on where it matters. Using Australia’s arid grain-growing conditions and Melbourne’s extreme climate to our advantage, we produce a spirit with balanced oak influence and pronounced cereal character.
