The Boardsmith's cutting boards are beautiful, solid wood slabs that feel built to last. I have both edge-grain and end-grain boards from them (as well as a few smaller cheese boards I got with a purchase in the past), and each one is beautiful. They do require occasional oiling to maintain, as with all wooden boards, and they’re definitely on the pricier side, but the quality and craftsmanship justify it. I use them daily, and they handle knives well, showing wear gracefully without compromising performance. Beyond functionality, they look stunning on the counter and add a warm, natural touch to the kitchen.
