This is so offensive, Elyse. I know your name too - of course. Which, speaks to the hands on attention and love (!!!) I have for our customers as I've built my business over a decade before, during, and after, this challenging moment in time. I'm genuinely sorry if the challenges we faced, absolutely extenuating, insane circumstances - didn't allow me to show up as my best self when I personally called you that night to try to clear things up. 

Paranoia is when you have a reason not to be. Thats not what this was. It was instinct and transparent communication with the information we had at the time.

We couldn't and wouldn't have said that - because we're not a scam. So sorry for the delays in response time while we stood up to enforce our Patent & Trademark rights against an accused Infringer. The small team was entirely overwhelmed and quite scared honestly - given what they were witnessing first hand.  

Awww, even though you wash your short hair every day - we love the support for our patented design and first to market innovation! So cool that you tell all our friends & purchase as gifts for the women in your life that need them! 90% of women don't wash their hair every day. Thats almost everyone. Apologies for any delays or confusion while we were navigating the protection of our business. Your order was *cancelled* when you filed and received refund for your order via a Chargeback. Your order wasn't processing because it was no longer paid for. We spoke many times. This is silly and harmful and we'd appreciate if you revise or remove it based on the facts we've since provided you.

Been waiting a year and still no product or refund! Fraudulent company to still be taking orders and not fulfilling them. 

I had placed an order with Shhhowercap over a year ago, and the item that they sent me was defective. I had to submit proof about the defect, and they promised that they would send me a new item( I did try to order a new Shhhowercap again in July 2023), but so far, they have failed to send me a replacement item, my new item or reimburse me. The CEO sent out an email to a number of people in August 2023, promising to straighten everything out, and so far she has not done so. Previously, I had bought a Shhhowercap at a department store and I have enjoyed it and the quality was quite good. Now, the quality is quite poor with defects and the CEO has been placing ads for items which are not delivered. Currently, she is trying to snow people with "Black Friday Sales" discounts. I hope that she gets shut down and is forced to reimburse everyone that she has ripped off. 

Look, their website is a mess. I think they were taken over by Shopify and it went very poorly. But if you ever do get your order you will never go back. I tried one and immediately ordered one for all of our houses and an extra one for travel. 10/10.

Update on 4-19-24: I was pleasantly surprised by a follow-up call and full support. We are very appreciative of the response and clarification of what happened with our initial order.

Past concern: Completely ineffective customer service. I ordered a Shhhowercap for my mother for last Mother's Day. I've been back and forth in emails with their customer service team, and even though many were affected with this issue, and they were aware, the only resolution was to send me new shipping label information, but the item was never received both times. I understand that third party issues can be challenging, but I don't understand how you could run a business this terribly. They are just stealing money from people and need to be held accountable. 

This company is terrible..I've sent numerous emails asking where are my orders...no response to my emails.  They've charged my credit card.  I placed my order in November 2023 and still no response.  I'm so angry they could have responded and said something like "Gotcha sucker!" but nothing.  I will seek what recourse can be taken all I want is a refund! 

I ordered this August 26, 2023. I finally received it today - April 2, 2024. Not only that, it’s not even the color/design I ordered. Not even close. It’s pretty much the opposite of what I ordered. 

It’s like they sent me the option that’s been hanging around in the warehouse for a year because nobody ordered it. If that’s the case, they could & should have sent it earlier…but I guess they figure if they don’t send it out for 6 months, people will be so grateful to finally get anything they’ll just keep it. 

Size-wise, I’ll have to agree with the general consensus that if you’re a bald pinhead, it’ll fit perfectly. 

I am absolutely thrilled with my shhhowercap  over the past few years. Not only does it keep my hair completely dry and frizz-free in the shower, but it also looks incredibly stylish and chic. The quality of the materials is top-notch, and the adjustable fit ensures that it stays in place comfortably. I love how it elevates my self-care routine and makes me feel like I'm treating myself to a spa day every time I use it. Definitely worth the investment for a luxurious shower experience!

Love this product! I have two girls that use it everyday and they are obsessed. The quality and design are great and the prints are so fun. I unfortunately have to wash my hair (thin & straight) every day but even I found a use for it. If I wash and dry my hair at night, I sleep with it and my hair doesn’t get knotted!

I've purchased several shower caps from this company over the past eight years and really liked the quality. Last year, I purchased another one and it fell apart relatively quickly. I reached out to customer service in December, followed up in January and February with no response. I wrote a review in March and they responded, asking me to reach out via email or IG with my information so they could send me another shower cap. I reached out on both platforms, received a response on IG a few weeks later. The CEO/Founder left a voice memo saying a new shower cap would be sent to me. As requested, I provided my info (again). After not hearing anything, I followed up and was asked to fill out information on their returns page, which I did. It did not work so they said they would process it themselves. I follow up a couple weeks later and they tell me they can't actually help me and to reach out via email to their customer service team (who hasn't responded to a single email I sent since December). I convey this and am told they're caught up and will respond. I send an email and receive no response back and after following up with the social team on IG several times, they now tell me they are not customer service and I need to reach out via email. When I remind them their CEO promised a new shower cap would be sent, they tell me to stop mentioning her name to them. The CEO then leaves me another voice memo saying she doesn't know where the order is, that she would ask in her morning meeting and asked me to send a voice memo because she can't remember my exact situation. I leave a memo, mentioning dates and that I've tried to reach out to customer service via email multiple times, with no response. She then leaves a voice memo, doesn't acknowledge the fact that this has been going on for six months with no resolution or that her team hasn't responded via email (which is their preferred method of customer service communication). Instead, SHE ACCUSED ME OF LYING AND WORKING WITH A COMPETITOR, TELLING ME TO NOT CONTACT THEM AGAIN! The social team added a sarcastic, "Nice working with you!" message after the rude voice memo. I have never experienced such horrendous/rude customer service. I paid $45 for a defective shower cap - what a waste of my time and money.

I placed my order over a month ago and can’t seem to get an update. I have emailed countless times and I can’t get any information or even a response. It’s a shame considering that your product is so good but your shipping and customer service department is horrendous. Disappointed to have to file a complaint and dispute. 

I bought two caps a few years ago, one as a gift and one for myself. The prints are beautiful and the lining is very nice. It didn't work for me and my mother for a few reasons- the thin band around the head can actually leave an indent on the forehead- we both have big heads but prefer caps that have softer wider bands. I also struggled to get all of my hair in the cap. I have long curly hair and the slim profile made me feel like I needed to flatten my hair to get it in. If they came out with a larger size , I would consider repurchasing. 

Not much for me - maybe make larger sizes to be more inclusive of people with lots of hair, but it was not a problem for me at all.

I never thought someone could make a showercap feel "luxury" but this really feels awesome to wear. It doesn't leave lines on your forehead and the designs are fantastic.

When you want to feel like a bad b**ch in your own home it's simple... wear a Shhhowercap! I think this is innovation at it's finest. It's simple shower caps suck and don't work. This product solves more than one problem and it really works.

I gifted this to all the women in my life and they are obsessed. But sometimes I want to feel bougie when putting on my Crown Affair hair mask and I'll wear one too. I also dyed my hair for the first time and this has helped me to keep the color in longer.

DON'T BUY. Too many red flags, poor quality that doesn't match the price, and full of claims that aren't met. Ever notice how the positive reviews are short with no issues mentioned, while the ones rating Shhhowercap contain MUCH more information? Keep in mind people can rate things on here without actually using the product, so with how scammy this company has been it would be unsurprising if the owner is paying for positive reviews.

In terms of an actual review: It sounds the same as a $3 shower cap with higher comfort and the same "frizz fighting" ability. Other brands also offer stylish options that actually work, instead of this one that squeezes even a small head to the point of headaches (due to too little fabric) and has a print quality that looks more like a mosaic than something befitting of a $50+ shower cap. There's also very little room within the cap with next to no stretch and does not cover the hair on the back of my head. It took a week to get a receipt that the order had been received, and I had to reach out to them (with no response but immediately shipped the day after) to finally get my product shipped after three more weeks, but shipping was very normal. 

EDIT: I ended up deciding to return it. I was within their 90-day return window, have gone through the proper steps, and contacted their provided email when my return wasn't processed after a week. They did not respond for months, and when they did, they said it was outside of the window when it was, in fact, within the window written on their own website. Just don't buy it.

Complete SCAM!  I ordered the product over a year ago and still have not received it.  I have followed up numerous times and am given excuses and told not to email as it crowds their inbox. Don't waste your time or money. 

What a nightmare! Ordered my shower caps in early May. It is now the end of August and Jackie (the CEO of Shhhowercap) is no closer to sending me my shower caps or refunds. She actually called me personally at almost 9pm on a paranoid rant about the Facebook group that’s formed in response to her inability to fulfill orders and refusal to process refunds. She has blamed a host of reasons for why a “small number of orders” have been affected but when I probed about the specifics of her website “migration issue” she became irate and accused me of being “out to get her” and called me “so mean.” I (along with many others) have reported her to the BBB and NY Attorney General fraud department and I’m hoping for a resolution. She shouldn’t be in business, continuing to solicit new orders through daily email campaigns, when she’s clearly been completely unable to fulfill any orders in at least a year or more. She’s turned off all Facebook comments and reviews as well as on Instagram because she is counting on people who aren’t aware continuing to place orders. If you steal someone’s purse on the street you go to jail- if you defraud hundreds or thousands or people online there should also be real consequences. Feel free to join our Facebook group (easy to find searching the name Shhhowercap) for more info and resources. In the meantime request the refund from PayPal or your credit card company…you won’t get anywhere with Jackie.

They continue to take orders, immediately charge your payment method, and rarely ship your showercaps. If you reach out asking for a shipping date, they will not have one or promise to ship and they never come. They refuse to refund orders that have not been delivered for months. Before ordering check them out on  Better Business Bureau website (F rating) to read multiple customer's accounts. Google shhhowercap reviews. Do not order any shower caps sp you do not get scammed by this business. 

I ordered 4 caps ( $166) in November.  Never got tracking number or caps.  Have written to them dozens of times.  They give lots of excuses ( Migration - what the heck does that mean)
I have repeatedly asked for a refund.  Never got it.  Now they tell me to wait till Sept 30.  WHY??
The CEO is asking people to pre order caps now and pay for them .  I feel like this is a pyramid scheme in full bloom.  SO DO NOT BUY FROM SHHHOWERCAP.
There are many more people in the same boat as I am in.  Look on Trust Pilot or SHHHowercap fails on facebook.
Any good reviews posted must be written by the owner of the company.  I cannot select a tag since none are negative and I never received a refund or product..
