Twice they sent my order and in each bag of cinnamon raisin bagels were not fresh. I would not recommend them

These bagels are nothing like New York bagels 

I am really impressed with the nutrition facts on these. At just 70 calories a bagel, 9g of protein and 32 grams of fiber, these bagels are much healthier than any mainstream bagel. 

On the taste side, it doesn’t quite scratch the “I want a New York bagel with cream cheese” itch. The bagels are a bit dry and don’t have the same texture. On their own - I would skip them, but if you want a breakfast sandwich with a great alternative to a normal bagel, these are for you. 

Is this company legitimate?? They charged my card weeks ago and nothing has arrived. I have written to them multiple times and keep getting automated messages stating themat my order “should arrive Wednesday”. We are now on the third Wednesday…  I have reported the charge to my credit card company and wanted to know if anyone else has had a similar experience.

Buyer beware! Great bread but service is so bad that I can't recommend buying their products. Once it took them more than a month to send my order, and twice they sent me incomplete orders. When I brought the botched orders to their attention, they apologized, but did nothing. If this company were run properly, it would be huge, but because of its gross mismanagement, I doubt it'll last long.

Super healthy, high on protein. Have replaced this with all my other breads. I especially love their bagels. 

Very dry. Very flavorless. Very expensive. Very disappointing. Even my dog turned his nose up. We couldn’t eat them.  I felt like I had a mouth full of sawdust.  Waste of money.

Tried the superseed. Bland and dry. Have to add a thick layer of cream cheese and a sprinkle of salt to even taste the bagel. Made one for my husband with butter and jelly. Took 2 bites out of it and  gave it back to me. Over priced and no flavor.

I went on their website and looked at what I wanted to buy I put two things in my cart   Because I had bought from them before they had my info I changed my mind cause it’s just so damn expensive , then I get an email saying it’s being shipped!! I emailed and said I didn’t even complete an order and I didn’t want it!! They lied and said it was ordered on the third and unless yesterday was the third that is not true!! BEWARE NEVER AGAIN!

I was so excited to try these because the company's Facebook reviews were RAVING.  Well, they must pluck the poor reviews, because the bagels and bread taste AWFUL.  I couldn't finish the plain bagel that I toasted, nor the plain bread.  I made the cinnamon raisin bagel palatable by loading on butter and sugar.  Awful taste.  Terribly overpriced.  

The nutrition facts for these bagels are very impressive, but the taste is not quite there. I found them to be dry and not very flavorful. Also, they are extremely expensive and not found in many retail stores.

We were so happy to see adverting for ROYO breads. We are type 2 diabetic and are always looking for alternatives to bread, other than sourdough bread. 
Unfortunately, since having my thyroid removed, it has been harder to swallow food. 
We tried the artisan bread and it was just very dry, as were the bagels. They felt so nice and fresh, but were incredibly dry and flavorless. 
The plain bagel was the worst, almost like wet cardboard. 
The cinnamon raisin lacked adequate cinnamon and raisins and this too was just too dry.
The everything bagel, was more like an onion bagel, which neither of us cared for. 

Overall we were really hoping to love your product, but the extreme dryness and lack of flavor had us asking for a refund. 




Claims to be 2 net carbs and claims "it isn't a medical bread". Diabetics watch out. High fiber with resistant wheat starch does NOT =2 net carbs for everyone. Back to healthy joy omega power bread with actual health and no bs. 

To call these “bagels” is complete & total false advertisement. A scam actually. The worst part of this scam is the “net carb” BS it’s pedaled with. Diabetes doesn’t acknowledge “net carbs”. The boost will produce insulin, or try to, to deal with the carbohydrates. There’s no way around it. Diabetics will see sugar spikes 100% of the time. If grains spike your blood sugar, you CANNOT eat this stuff. And most diabetics suffer when they consume grains. 

I ordered 4 different bagels and two breads.  All were dry and flavorless.  The bagels are not real bagels.   You cant even put a spread on them without them coming apart on the plate.   The bread was inedible.    
Just a terrible brand .

Love toasting the bagels with butter on top. Also Royo bread with a hamburger , mustard and onions.( Tends to fall  apart if too much stuff on).   I have ordered several times now.  Note: I always prefer even regular bagels toasted.   

I also don’t eat ice cream because my low fat yogurt won’t taste good anymore:-)



I’ve been on a bit of a healthy eating kick. I have Haschimotos and APS so this means my metabolism is slower than normal. I needed to find filling nutritious low calorie high fiber/protein foods to keep me full to avoid eating more calories than I need. Very difficult to do with regular breads. I also noticed that commercial bread irritates my psoriasis. I can’t have that nonsense in my life 🤣. Royo has been a great option. Helps me to maintain my healthy weight goals and provides a substantial amount of protein. I love the artisan bread and bagels. I make bagel pizza with them. Also the challah rolls substitute sticky buns for me. I just split them and ad butter cinnamon and sweetener or molasses and warm them. I’m so glad I found these breads. I had lost hope on being able to have bread in my diet.

The customer service is awful. My order was incorrect when delivered, the only way to contact the company is via email. These products are perishable and it took them a week to get back to me. They said they would send a replacement and they’re sending the wrong thing again. Totally incompetent customer service plus the product is not great. Bread very dry. The cinnamon rolls lack flavor and certainly do not have a strong cinnamon taste, and the bagel was blah, not at all like a bagel in texture. I would never order again

I got served a late night Instagram ad from Royo and, for reasons I can’t fully explain since I’m not on a diet, keto, or particularly afraid of calories, I hit buy. I ordered the plain and cinnamon raisin bagels plus two loaves of bread.

My first thought after trying the plain bagel was that it tastes like bread for people who don’t remember what bread is supposed to taste like (no offense to anyone!). But since I now own four bags of it, I’ve committed to figuring out how to make it work.

Toasting definitely helps. The texture is actually decent, soft rather than dense, which I appreciated. And pairing it with strong, flavor-heavy toppings makes a difference in masking the unusual flavor.

All of that said, while the flavor and overall experience are not magical, it is better than I expected for what it is.

The branding is cute. I appreciated the branded shipper box and the overall trendy aesthetic.

I was a three year customer ordering almost monthly to six week.  The product is not a true bagel, but definitely good enough to provide a low calorie and low carb alternative. Helped me lose a lot of weight without GLP1 assistance. 

The three star rating partly has to do with Royo's business practices. I started to receive orders as an automatic subscription. I don't remember ordering this way but gave Royo the benefit of the doubt that I made a mistake. I thought this until I heard from others that the same thing happened to them. I immediately cancelled the subscription. Well ... I got another order on the subscription, an order I received way before I finished my prior order. The kicker that made me discontinue my ordering from Royo is when I emailed them four times over a 10 day period and never received a response. This is really bad business. Obviously their customer relations needs to he improved. Their customer service gets zero - the bagel gets a four and a half. 

Very expensive for what it is. Got the everything bagel, cinnamon bagel, chocolate bun, and cinnamon bun. I could not eat the bagels because they are so dry and bland. No matter how much cream cheese I slathered I still did not like the texture. The chocolate buns are okay but the cinnamon buns don't even taste like cinnamon rolls. I was not expecting the bagels to have the same texture as regular bagels but these are so dry that they start crumbling everywhere. For the money spent I don't think it's worth it. Oh and it shot my sugar through the roof. My CGM alarm is going off.

Tried buns. . Ok tasting but dry and thick.
Plain bagels.  Ok.  Best thing i tried.
Cinnamon rolls. Awful.  Unbelievably awful. Bad taste and after taste.
Choc cinnamon rolls.  Again. Unbelievably awful.
Superseed bagels. What's the smell? Garlic? Idk. Again. Awful.
What a waste of money.  The only thing I'd. Consider buying again is the plain bagels and just the thought of all the other wasted $$$ is telling me I can pay less for better bagels
