I was so excited to learn about the science that went into developing the C35.5 Firming Glow Serum. I have always suffered from melasma and post-acne pigmentation that I want to help fade. As soon as I put that first pump in my hand I was obsessed. It’s truly unlike any vitamin c serum that you’re ever tried before. It’s not going to oxidize and turn dark orange or brown as you use it over time. I love that it’s in an airless pump and not messy like the typical vitamin c serums I’ve used. No oxidation, no sticky or oily feeling, no weird smell, no mess = an instant 2 thumbs up from me. The texture actually reminds me of a makeup primer the way it’s smooth, soft and almost gel-like and it glides onto your skin effortlessly. I wish that I could show a drastic improvement like I saw on their website and some other photos. I’m not going to write the C35.5 Firming Glow Serum off completely but I am not able to honestly give a glowing 5 star review with noticeable proof of visual improvement although I do like the serum itself.

I was really impressed when learning about the science that has gone into creating a collagen peptide cream known as COLL20 Gel Cream Moisturizer. I appreciate how transparent Parëva Beauty is. There are so many celebrity and viral/gimmicky beauty products out there these days it’s easy to fall for the claims and not what the product actually does or how it works. As a consumer and beauty lover, it’s a nice change for me to see in the beauty market. I like the education and transparency in knowing the number of bioactives and how concentrated the formula is. It’s refreshing to know a skincare company was created for simplicity and by combining multiple benefits in a single product. I was particularly drawn to the COLL20 Gel Cream Moisturizer because 1. I live in Arizona and my skin is always extremely dry 2. I suffer from hormonal acne and melasma 3. I’m in my early 30’s and want to prevent aging. I’m always nervous to use moisturizers because I don’t want to inflame or cause more acne. The gel consistency is very nice, light and refreshing. The airless pump container that’s pre-portioned makes it easy to keep myself from wanting to lather it all over my body. I like how light and gel-like the consistency is. It absorbs fairly quickly and my skin feels really good. I used it twice a day for 14+ days and would love to continue using and give another photo with progress at & weeks and 12 weeks to see if I notice any visible difference. While safe to use if you have acne, it didn’t seem to make my acne any worse and I did not have new acne in other areas than before. I think my skin looks brighter and more hydrated than before. I was hoping to see the drastic and visible change that I noticed on Parëva’s website whom used about 10 days longer than I did.
