  • Be aware: poor after-sales support when a genuine issue arises. I was very disappointed with my recent experience with Nomad the Label. I purchased a top from them, wore it once, and then washed it on a cold machine wash exactly in line with the care instructions. After that single wash, the top came out with obvious yellow discolouration. I contacted customer service, explained the situation fully, and provided photographs. What disappointed me most was not just the fault with the garment, but the response afterwards. With a number of emails with them back and forth, rather than resolving what seems to me to be a genuine product issue, the company appeared to look for reasons not to help. They suggested my wash method may have contributed, even though I followed the care label and the label did not say that fabric conditioner should not be used. I had also washed another white Nomad the Label top at the same time and that garment came out completely fine. In my view, this was poor after-sales service and a very frustrating way to treat a genuine customer concern. I had previously spent a fair amount with Nomad the Label and had been happy with earlier purchases, which makes this even more disappointing. Sadly, this experience has put me off buying from them again.

  • The Sadhu French Linen Pants in Tahitian Blue are so lovely, I bought two pairs. The linen is comfortable, even in oppressive summer heat. I found that washing on delicate and drying on a line inside preserves the color better. I hope they make these pants for a long time, but just in case, I have two pairs!
