I’ve learned throughout the years that  companies like this are a rip-off or their products are not as good as they claim. I always do my research before purchasing anything advertised on TV or facebook.  Thanks to folks like you providing feedback,  can steer clear of these scams. Also, most of the time you can find them in Amazon for lesser prices. I would report them to the BBB. 

Same thing happened this month to me. I have been communicating with them via email questions@kindscience.com to honor the 60 day refund. I also put a freeze on the source that they are billing me on. Everything is documented and I will file with our Atty General if they do not resolve the issue. I too, had to pay return shipping charges. Scam!

I’m having an allergic reaction to the kind science product how do I report this to the company? I don’t believe it’s all of the products I know  it’s the neck cream and I believe the firming serum what do I do with the product

Yep, I had the same thing, I read all of the print. I wanted to give it as a gift, I NEVER wanted it for myself, and I DEFINITELY did not want a subscription. I have spent over 2 hours chatting and speaking with them. Now they are telling me they refunded the money and they only refunded HALF. Because their system shows they have refunded it, they can’t do anything else.


Yep same thing happened to me. Now they are telling me they refunded my account, but they only refunded HALF!

You all need to do something. You can’t let that child trafficker run away get away with this. This is why her show was canceled because of her LIES. 

Sue her You all cannot lose your money to her scam. She’s been a liar for a long time. She has lots of money . No wonder she’s a scammer. She could care less about her ex followers . She’s a child trafficker. 

WARNING: Misleading Trial and Subscription Scam
Do NOT fall for the "trial kit" offer from Kind Science. My experience was an immediate and frustrating subscription scam.
I ordered the initial trial kit with the understanding that I was purchasing a one-time product. I did NOT consent to or sign up for a subscription service. Despite this, I was automatically enrolled in a costly subscription and quickly received a second, full-priced, unsolicited order.
When I discovered the unauthorized subscription, I immediately went online to cancel it.
This practice of automatically enrolling trial customers into an expensive subscription without clear, explicit opt-in consent is poor marketing, dishonest, and a predatory business tactic.
and if you add all the amounts you paid, the "promotion Discount" three time less product than the subscription, the total of the subscription you are paying $ 395.77 so there is NOT SUCH discount.........

Yep, same thing happened to me and they charged me a second time while I was waiting for the first to be refunded.

Same thing happened to me. I ordered a trial kit and apparently was changed to a 4-month trial that I finally got canceled but still need to pay $180 for remaining time. What a scam!

Yes, me too.  I bought the sample package as one of my wife’s Christmas gifts and was surprised to receive an unsolicited $90 dollar package “subscription” a month later.  My wife hasn’t tried the product yet so I got on a chat session with “Marc”, who offered to put my subscription on hold  for 5 months after I told him to just cancel it.  He then told me my balance was $180 for the package I just received and for another one they’ll send in 2 months time.  It took me over 30 minutes to convince him to cancel everything and to provide me with information on how to return - minus S&H - for a refund.  So, I’ll contact my payment method to have any charges stopped, and we’ll see how the refund goes.

Same situation for me. Ordered initial trial set and I never consented to a subscription service nor did I authorize a payment installment plan for unsolicited products. Buyer beware! Stay away from this scam.

My mom is having the same issue with the neck cream and overnight serum! On top of the itching her eyes are all puffy and swollen. Does anyone know what ingredient is in the neck cream and overnight serum to cause this allergic reaction ? 

The frustration and anger is with the DECEPTIVE advertising with their  "trial offer"..Once they hook you in, 2 weeks later you get a FULL Subcription and a charge of $84 to $100. .Then you are trapped with getting monthly shipments you have not authorized.  Calling customer service is a joke!

How do you get out of this? Smae thing happening to me now- customer service number is a scam - no one answers same with the cust service chat - n o reply when I type in cancel subscription.,.....I am pissed!

I did not see this when I ordered this cream on their website for Ellen Generes skin cream. You get billed each month for 4 months at the rate of 91.11. I tried to dispute this charge but the product was already sent.  Never again . I can’t stand how these so called celebrities pitch their product and don’t go into the details of what to expect once you order it. I still could not see where it says you are obligated for 4 months at a different rate than what you originally paid for the cream. It’s a scam.

Update: It’s been 30 days since I posted the review below after receiving my small, little product samples. I used the whole system religiously for the whole month and I have seen absolutely no difference. No reduced wrinkles and no difference in my skin: nothing. I am going to go back to my less expensive hodgepodge of different lotions.

Do not fall for this scam. The products are about 1/3 the size of the ones that we see for the very long commercial/infomercial. I put my reading glasses in the picture for comparison. My splash guard around my sink is only 3 inches high.

Also, it’s a subscription, so you get shipments automatically. I called to cancel my subscription and they totally gave me the runaround. I had to state five times that I wanted to cancel, but they kept offering me other solutions that kept me on their books. After the five statements, I did successfully cancel and received a cancellation email

I’ve only used the products for two days, so I don’t know if there are any good, but you are not even able to buy one or two pieces if you want to continue using just them.

I would recommend going to CVS and picking up things with high review scores as you need them.

This is a total scam. I ordered the trial and was moderately satisfied with the product. But then they charged my cc almost $100 and told me that I owed another $200. I hadn't even opened the box, so I immediately sent it back. I have been told I will receive a credit for the $100 charge and that no additional charges will hit my card. But from what I've read online, there's little, if any, reason to assume they will actually follow through. The return was received at least a week ago, but I have not seen the credit yet. Save yourself a headache, and just avoid this company altogether.

So disappointed with Kind Science; feel scammed, despite Ellen Degeneres and Portia’s claims. It cost me a fortune, and I had no idea that I had signed up for a subscription. Will never buy again.

Now I have to pay for shipping this box back to you and waiting 3 to 5 business days for a $183.53 refund!!!!! And I just lost my job last week!!! But I never wanted a SUBSCRIPTION!!!!!! Ridiculous! The products are good and I love how my skin feels but after buying the deluxe kit at the discount, I got another shipment with larger bottles which I did not know was coming! They sucked me into a subscription!! I had to finally cancel by contacting them which took way too long after getting offers on other subscriptions! Now I gotta pay 3 installments of $107!! I’m not happy!!!!! No wonder Ellen isn’t well liked! 

The Neck Treatment  Cream gave me such a rash with itchy, burning skin that I had to go to my dermatologist to get a prescription cream to calm my skin.  I have never had an allergic reaction to any skin product before and I have used many.  When I contacted Customer Service to see if they could send me one of the other products I liked, they said they couldn’t.  So now all I can do is throw away the product.  I am disappointed with Ellen and her company!  

Wish I could give -5 ⭐️ . Huge scam. Ordered for $59, checked all the fine print.  Then I get another box and I am suppose to pay $270! No thanks. I hope this business and Ellen fall off the face of the earth

The products are decent, but the customer service and getting the refund is TERRIBLE. I have spent 2 hours on chat and phone calls. They tell me I am owed $211 and then only sent me half. I call again and they said it was already refunded. It has NOT been refunded. It is almost impossible to get a hold of someone and then they tell you they are going to take care of the issue and they only give you half of what is owed!!! Then they say you need to check with your bank or send them a statement. WHAT??? This is a SCAM.

I should have done my homework before ordering. Like many others I didn't know I was buying a subscription that I am finding quite difficult to cancel. The chat lady kept saying the same thing over and over. It wasn't until a half hour later that she confirmed a refund will be issued. I screenshot the conversation but I am not fully trusting that a refund will actually come. I canceled the subscription online, too. But I am still owed money that I am not sure I will ever see. Kind? Not so much!
Update:10/2: instead of receiving the promised refund, they charged me another $84. So there is that. 
Update: 10/15: I got on a chat with them again. They told me I can send my shipment back and then get a refund within 3 to 5 days. I did just that. The return was delivered October 10th. No confirmation no refund. I get on the chat with them again today. They promise to send this to the admin team and they will get back to me in 24 to 72 hours with an answer. I try to get a manager. I tell them about my frustration, and instead of doing anything else, I get an automated "Thank you for getting in touch. It's been great connecting with you. Have a fantastic day!' After that they ignored me. I am so frustrated!

I have not used the products from either order. I am now forced to go through the trouble of returning both shipments just to get my money back. I am demanding a full refund for both the trial kit and the unauthorized second shipment based on their 60-Day Money-Back Guarantee.
Be warned: You are not just buying a trial kit; you are signing up for a massive headache and an immediate, unwanted subscription that you will have to fight to cancel. The company prioritizes deceptive billing practices over genuine customer service.

I like that there isn’t a strong scent as well as feels like a lightweight product, but my skin still feels moisturized

First, I had a very hard time trying to get help. I sent an email and it was returned to me- maelor demon. This is curious because I sent two emails immediately after placing an order when I realized I had been signed up for a subscription. Which brings me to my next point. They would not cancel the order. They said once the order was placed nothing could be done.  I asked for a return shipping label and was told that they don’t do that.
I have to pay the return shipping. So I will be curious to see how long it takes them to refund my money.

When I tried the products last night I really liked them. However, this morning I woke up with a hot, itchy, red face. I bought this kit as a treat to myself after having surgery and have never had a reaction like this before, so it is quite disappointing. Not sure which product it was that caused the reaction. If anyone knows of one to be the cause, I may try the others again, but right now I am so uncomfortable. 

Poor company standards when trying to cancel your subscription and they don't give you your full refund

This company is a complete scam. Almost impossible to cancel  - had to phone 3 times and extremely difficult. As a precaution  - I cancelled my card I used. Zero trust or confidence after my CS experience. Run do not walk from this company. 
Complete misleading advertising. Ellen should be ashamed to part of this scam company. 

I see many bad reviews and I am shocked. I have been using this product for 9 months. I find that my skin has never looked better. It is more smooth, evenly toned and it is brighter. Most important it is no longer dry.  I use the firming serum, hydrating cream and the neck cream every morning and I use the oil every night. It is a great product. Just ordered the eye cream!

The $75 + package.  My wife has used this for about a year and has not noticed any results.  She received a renewal order about a month ago, and two of the bottles were broken and leaking.  She called Customer Service, and they sent her replacements. . They smelled so bad that she could not use them.   She calls the company to cancel any future orders. Assured her order was cancelled, Today she received a new order, which she did not ORDER .  Asking for her money back a return label, a refund. And 45 minutes on the phone, they ok'd a return of payment, minus shipping for something she did not order.  This company and its customer service are a fraud and should be reported as such.
