Thanks for the honest feedback Liz! Scents are so personal, and it's always interesting to see how one scent can both be someone's favorite and another person's least favorite. Our general approach is to create scents inspired by nature in the hope that one of these will connect deeply with you. Don't love that it's a subscription model. Doesn't seem necessary considering the nature of the product.

Love the candle, the eco-friendly packaging, and the note that comes with.

Love the Keap brand and product. Was an early backer from their first Kickstarter, years ago! Handmade with love and care, beautiful scents, sustainably made. Lots to love about them.

I love all their fragrances. Very strong and fill my living space. Also love the vessels and I save them to pour new candles or use for drinks. They’re very high end. The wood cabin is my favorite and I like to keep that one for year round!

Good price point for a diptyque-quality scent. 

I was really excited about Keap! Ordered their trial set of scents and am really glad that they offer this option. 

Ultimately, I didn't prefer any of the scents over the candles I already have and love (Flamingo Estate, Boy Smells, Anecdote) so didn't buy anything full size. Scents were good! Just not my favorite 

Love these candles, like a gift to myself every month. When I go out of town, I take the sample candles and have one for each travel night - very comforting. I also give samples to traveling visitors, since my family does not live closely. I figure out how many travel nights home and give them samples, along with appropriate number of matches. 
Why don't you include matches anymore?  They were wonderful!

Have smelt Keap candles in every single fancy brooklyn restaurant for months and finally committed to the subscription. The quality is amazing but what really blew me away was the packaging. My candle came with a hand written note, a little newsletter on updates, and free samples. You can tell that the people working here really care about delivering a quality experience. 

I absolutely love my Keap candle! It smells amazing and I really appreciate that it made with sustainable and clean ingredients. It's a little pricy but it's great to give as a gift to someone who appreciates a good scent! 

Beautiful wedding party gifts, and wonderful  customer service!

About a week away from our wedding, I urgently  contacted Keap about shipping a bulk order of candles for gifts for my wedding party. Harry & co. were very gracious and warm, and promptly assembled a variety of scents for me, and despite my rush, took the time to include a personal, handwritten note with each candle. They arrived just in time, and my party *loved* them — the black packaging is handsome, the enclosed matches are lovely, and each scent — Wood Cabin, Timur Moon (so delicate!), and Wild Figs — perfect.

These were already my favorite candles, but after their wonderful service I’m an even bigger fan, and want a Keap subscription. Consider them for wedding gifts!

I love the Scent-To-Home Sampler Set, which is perfect for travel and small rooms.  The regenerative approach to making candles is so inspiring and needed. I'm looking forward to trying more of their seasonal scents. The Scent-To-Home Sampler Set also makes a great gift.

I love all the scents I’ve gotten! The February scent of the month hot springs is so relaxing and nice. I signed up for the monthly subscription, and love the personal touches they give to each package. Will be continuing on!

I’m sorry to say that this candle has no throw . The scent is very delicate and good, but you can barely smell it, even when you position it next to you. I bought this on the strength of the New York Times article, but I’m very disappointed. And the price is astronomical. I appreciate the fact that artisans are involved, but the product is lacking.

Best candles out there. Scented just right, burns clean, and I love the subscription box! They also send samples if you subscribe monthly. I'd highly recommend buying from Keap as the candles are scented just enough for my sensitive nose to not be bothered by it. Delicious smelling!

I LOVE keap candles. I find the scents amazing and the candles are super high quality. I also love how simple the vessel is. I kept the glass after the candle burned down and it is super cute in my home.  They are locally made in New York (I believe). 

Wonderful experience from start to finish. I purchased the sample set to find out which scent I would most enjoy. I decided on Northlands. I had a few questions and had a very pleasant interaction with the owner. The response time was very quick and he was able to help with my questions.  Customer service is beyond great! My candle arrived promptly and the packaging was beautiful. This would make for a great gift. I also received a sample of another scent, which is delightful. Overall, I had a great experience and love my luxury candle. The scent is perfect for these already cold and dreary fall days!

More ideas on what to do with my glasses! I have too many of them :) Maybe a way to send them back?

In a world full of scented candles, I "keap" coming back to this brand. Their scents are pure, the candles burn perfectly until the very end, you can reuse the containers and the packaging is minimal. They also listen to their customers and are very transparent about business decisions. I've been a subscriber for almost three years and don't plan to quit! Managing my subscription is easy and being able to choose between the scent of the month or a favorite scent is perfect (my favorite is Wild Figs). Finally, the option to order a scent kit to test-drive all the different options and having the value applied towards a subscription is just brilliant. 

Great product, wonderful company! Getting my Keap box is the highlight of every month. I think a lot of people are turned off by the high price-point, but I’m actually spending less money on candles than I was pre-Keap…they last a long time and the scents are really, really good.

Candles smell amazing and I love the simple design. Customer service is great! Over the summer during major heatwave the candles I received had completely melted- customer service shipped me replacements quickly while also telling me how to fix/use the melted candles!

After doing a lot of research (though apparently not enough) - I ordered a Keap candle I thought I would like. It was a bit pricey for a candle I'd never actually smelled before. I received the candle and.... didn't like it. I figured I was out of luck, and $$, but took a chance and emailed the company to ask about returns and exchanges (I hadn't burned the candle yet).

Someone from customer service responded, sorry that I didn't like the candle and offered to refund my money or to help me find one I would like. I ended up picking another one to try, which they sent out to me right away. I ended up really liking it and returned the original candle. I really appreciated Keap's customer service!

I didn’t come back for more…not sure why….i think they should give you samples of other smells to hook you.
