  • Arizona Tigers Eye Peridot Gem Drop Necklace Extremely stressful experience — I would not recommend this seller I purchased a necklace from Jia Jia for £511.10. The necklace arrived damaged, with significant chips to two stones, including the central stone. I reported the damage to the seller within less than an hour of receiving it. The necklace was never worn or used. I initially agreed to return it for repair, but what should have been a simple process turned into weeks of stress and wasted time. I repeatedly contacted the seller for a return label and waited eight days before receiving one. When I finally received the label, the sender address was incorrect. I then had to contact the seller again and wait for another label. By this point I had completely lost confidence in the process and asked for a full refund instead. I also asked several times what would happen to the £122.86 UPS import duties and charges I had already paid. Unfortunately, I could not get clear answers to very simple questions. The seller's responses were extremely short and vague. One of the responses I received was: “Please see attached for your label. Noted on your request. We will review when we receive the necklace back. Thanks.” That was simply not good enough for me when dealing with a £500+ luxury purchase that had arrived damaged. I expected proper communication, clear answers and the seller to take responsibility for resolving the problem. Because I could not get the answers I needed, I had to open a PayPal claim. I provided photographs, my correspondence and independent evidence from a jeweller confirming that two stones were damaged. I also had to pay for the independent jewellery assessment myself. PayPal ultimately decided the case in my favour. Even after that, the return has continued to be a hassle. The seller's original label had the wrong address, and PayPal has now provided a different address for the return. This has meant additional time, inconvenience and return costs for me. What should have been a straightforward situation — receiving a damaged item and returning it — became a long, stressful and exhausting process where I felt I had to chase everything myself. The communication and customer service were, in my experience, extremely poor. Simple questions about my refund, return and import charges were not properly answered, and I felt that I was left to deal with the consequences of a damaged item myself. I am writing this review because I would want to know about this kind of experience before spending £500+ with a seller. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Jia Jia Jewelry. There are plenty of other jewellery sellers out there, and personally I would avoid this seller at all cost. The stress, wasted time and lack of proper customer service were simply not worth it. Be aware before you buy.
