Janie Deegan founded Janie's Life-Changing Baked Goods in 2015 after years of struggling with addiction and homelessness. Working to integrate herself back into society and reconstruct her life, Janie re-discovered her passion for baking. She found joy in baking treats for friends, and, fueled by encouragement, challenged herself to sell some of these treats, turning into a full blown small business before she knew it. The bakery's famous Pie Crust Cookie were dubbed “The Next Cronut” by top food industry experts. Pie Crust Cookies and more are available to ship nationwide and at all three NYC bakery locations - East Harlem, Upper West Side, and West Village.
