Same exact thing. Paid. Have sent many emails. No response. No product.

I am waiting for it since 2021!!! last email was on May 30th, 2024! but no response and didn't receive anything! what shall we do now?

I’m starting to work on a lawsuit against the company for stealing people’s money, not delivering and not responding to emails for an update. Looking for individuals with similar experience to join me. Comment on this post 

same...ordered last year, just got an email 2 weeks ago that they cancelled my order.  still haven't seen by refund back on my account.

Same happened to me. last email was on May 30th, 2024! what shall we do now?

I contributed to their kickstarter. That was October 2020. It is now October 2023. They collected additional shipping costs from me because of increased shipping costs. I paid that months and months ago and still have not received my pledge reward. Shame on them. I just got another kickstarter update that said nothing of any orders shipping, only requesting more shipping cost from backers. 

I AM NOT HAPPY! They’re running a shady “business”. 

I placed an order the last week of November and was not informed that it was a pre-order and would take 30 to 45 days. Follow up with hitch took 48 to 72 hours every time and I was told that my order which had been paid for would be placed sometime in mid January, I let them know that I would check with the recipient of the gift to find out if I needed to cancel, and my order was immediately canceled. Upon asking why my order was canceled simply because I wrote the word in an email. They did not read the email. They simply canceled my order and said I will get my funds back in the next seven business days. Under no circumstance what I order from this company again.

I placed an order for TWO cups on March 2nd.  I have contacted them at least three times and they do respond within 1-2 days.  They sent me an email today saying it would be ANOTHER 30 days!   If the product is stellar I will come back and amend my review but for now disappointing experience receiving my order.  

I love the design and idea, but the bottle is pretty heavy and weighs down my bag. It also took forever to get!

Today is May 21. I ordered a new lid for my coffee cup on April 10. This is the second time that I've had to order a new lid (I've broken two already; they don't stand up well to a short fall from my hand while walking). I don't have another to-go mug.  I have been spilling coffee on myself for almost two months.

I have contacted customer service on numerous occassions. The first response was from a chatbot. I asked that a human respond. The following week, a human responded and asked me for information about shipping that I don't have (but which Hitch should have since Hitch shipped the product). I gave the customer service representative the tracking number and the message I received when I plugged that number into the US Postal Service web portal. The customer service agent never responded. I reached back out after two weeks. That was last week. Again, the customer service agent never responded.

I would like a full refund for the product I never received. I also think (and this is just a suggestion) that you should send me a FREE coffee lid in addition to this refund. Y'all are doing a very bad job of communicating with someone who has chapmpioned your product since your original kickstarter. What's your problem? Where's my lid?

I have been prompted twice now for a review. Y'all seem more concerned with amassing positive reviews than with serving your customers. You've done a better job asking me for something than you have answering the questions that I've asked (or sending the product I bought). Money, money, money, money, money. This is akin to the fact that you seem to spend much more money on advertising (I'm remembering your original kickstarter) than you do getting your product into your customers' hands.

I've orderd a product that I've not received. I've emailed multiple times and you've not answered. The product is what it is. I wish it could carry more water, but it's a cool concept, and I love the coffee cup (although, obviously, I think the lid should be much sturdier). Your customer service, on the other hand, deserves less than a single star. You have managed to undercut my sense of reality. And then (in the single email sent by your customer service representative) you blamed me for your own failure. I waited more than a year for my first Hitch water bottle. Maybe the lid will show up sometime in 2025.

The bottle is sleek and functional... and I really enjoyed using it. I received it in March. The sizes are great and even fit in the comically undersized Volvo cupholders, which is great. But after I dropped it once, the lid from the coffee broke and now leaks to point of not being able to use. I reached out to customer service twice and still have not heard a reply. I am disappointed in the durability, limited availability of replacement parts, and no response to date from customer service in over two months of attempted emails. 

Order this in March 2024 - have received 2 notifications of a 60-90 day delay.  They took my money immediately.  I have sent many emails requesting they cancel my order and included my order number.  They never response, they don't refund my money.  Would love to review the actual product but the company is terrible. 

I ordered two Hitch bottles in April I emailed customer service the end of May they said they would email me a timeline of when my order will ship. I never received timeline email. I have emailed them at least twice a month since April no response. They have my order number I also sent my receipt for two Hitch bottles no response. Terrible customer service. I asked for a refund zero response. 

I wish I had seen this sooner. I ordered TWO cups. Paid 116$ up front. Received an email a week before its shipping time that it would 60-90 days more. Emailed twice requesting a refund. Nothing. Not even an automated response. I let them know I would be reporting them to BBB and the FTC which I have now done. Still nothing. I am now trying to speak with my bank regarding this issue to try and receive my money back.

Pre-ordered it and waited for it for more than 2 months and when the time for shipping came another email was sent prompting to wait another 60-90 days more without any effort to better the inconvenience. Emailed for refund and nothing. Reaching out with credit card company to identify this business as fraud. They could have been a great company if the idiots running operation can simply deliver basic service  

Would write a review if the product but I can’t cause it never came. Ordered it in jan and got an update in Feb that there was a delay and shipping would start in 25-30 days. That’s fine I can wait. March rolls around and still nothing but behold I get an email asking me to get onboard the next shipment. HELLO first shipment wasn’t even fulfilled what do you mean next shipment. Gave it time and emailed in September but no response. Sent another email again and here I was gullible thinking I finally got a response but when I replied to it I got the same BOT reply. Which was of no help as it was just telling me to read the online FAQs. Tried Instagram and nothing there as well - obviously limited comments gives it away that Hitch has not been able to fulfil shipments and are just hiding it and taking everyone’s money. Those lucky few who have received it. I wish you would go play the lotto cause you seem to have good luck in your lives. 

Delayed shipment I can understand but not taking responsibility and ignoring customers is a whole level of low. And if you are going to delay the shipments be smart about the newsletters you send out constantly telling people of new shipments. Such a clown and scummy move. 

Pre-ordered 2 bottles plus accessories in April 2024. Received one email of a 30-day delay. Months later, sent multiple emails with zero response. Here we are the tail end of January 2025, no response and obviously no product. 

When using the cup on it's own with the cover, the cover mouthpiece closes super tightly and can be really hard to open sometimes

Love my Hitch!! I preordered it ages ago and it finally arrived recently, I carry it around religiously. All the little thoughtful pieces are just delightful - the cup that spins out of the bottom, the magnetic top, the interior that pops out for easy washing... chef's kiss. AND, it somehow keeps my water cold all day! I put a couple ice cubes in when I leave the house at 8:30am and the bottle is still cold to the touch when I'm leaving the office at 6pm.

This started out as a promising indegogo campaign - fast forward two years and lots of major broken promises (from free shipping that now costs $110 to over 1.5 years of delay). The concept is great and love the mission but the company is straight up fraudulent at this point. 

Everything from the build quality, to the customer service which is shockingly rude.



I backed via Indiegogo, it took several years to arrive. Hitch held the flasks to ransom demanding that backers pay more and more shipping and production costs. 
In the end it cost over £100 for a flask and cup.
When it finally arrived it was cheaply finished and it leaks.
I can’t rate it low enough.

Just run away from this brand. They're liars and their product is awful. 

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM COMPANY

Like everyone else on here: myself and my partner bought 2 hitch bottles via the Indigogo at the very start of 2020 ... and in December of 2022 we FINALLY got our bottles - and they're a complete disaster. The company is a total scam. They lied in their campaign, acting as if they just needed the money to start production, but that they were ready to go. Well, after probably 20 or so emails detailing all the times they had to start over because their product wasn't working properly, they finally starting shipping - to NEW customers. Oh yes, while the vast majority of backers hadn't even gotten their bottles yet, they opened up their website for new customers to order and they were sending them out! An absolute disgrace. They also asked backers to pay (in our specific case) $110 MORE for shipping costs (for 2 bottles!!!) Over 2 years after the campaign ended. They stated that if you didn't pay you wouldn't get your product which to me should have been totally illegal. 

REVIEW OF THE BOTTLES: They're terrible, the weight alone is an absolute joke. I could use these bottles as 1.5kg weights (that's how much they each weigh with liquid inside!) And the quality is shocking. I'm currently waiting on a response from their no doubt useless customer service team because my partner's cup is defective! The lid for his cup doesn't fit on at all. Seriously, after 2 years of remaking your product you can't even send out two working bottles. We *should* get a full refund for a product that doesn't work, but I have no doubt that they will claim that they don't have to refund or do anything to make this right. 



I love my hitch, but I do wish it came in a navy blue, I hope they release more colors soon!

I recently purchased a bottle from Hitch and I am extremely impressed with its quality and performance. The bottle is made of durable stainless steel and has a sleek, modern design. It also keeps my water cold for hours on end, even in hot weather.

One of the things I love most about this water bottle is its leak-proof design. I can throw it in my bag without worrying about any spills or messes. The wide mouth also makes it easy to fill and clean.

But what really sets this brand apart is its commitment to sustainability. The bottle is made with recycled materials and the company works to reduce its carbon footprint. It's great to know that I'm not only staying hydrated but also doing my part for the environment.

I highly recommend Hitch to anyone in need of a reliable, eco-friendly water bottle. Five stars!

If you’re considering this brand, know that most of the hard work has been done. Although it may take 30 to 45 days to receive (pulled from the official website) know that the time and effort that the team has put into it from day one has been nothing short of amazing. If anyone’s interested, or in the need for a product like this, you definitely won’t be disappointed. 

So I originally found out about hitch from Kickstarter back in 2020. I thought it would be a pretty awesome thing to use and help me out day to day because I constantly had a water bottle and coffee with me when I went to work (U.S. Navy).

 As everybody knows, a lot of things shut down and were difficult to predict during 2020, and the same went for this project. Due to shut downs, supply chain issues, and quality assurance concerns, the project was delayed multiple times. Although it took a while for me to get the product, I loved how transparent and open the team at hitch was about everything. Week every week I could count on receiving an email, letting me know the status of progress, and what was going on.

When I finally received my bottle, I was nothing less than impressed. Great design, flawless fit and finish, and definitely high-quality. I’m glad that I stuck with them, and can say that I was one of the original backers for this project.

This product and this company is a scam. The bottle is basically trash, it doesnt fit, it doesnt keep warm, it acutally broke after a short time... rather buy a 8 USD bottle on amazon...your money is spent better here

The Hitch bottle is great for getting around Chitown on my bike. Less space in my backpack, and I never leave my cup at home, which I was always doing. The design is really sleek too.
