Growing up ever since I was little, my parents forced me to use mint toothpaste because it really was the only thing that existed but I would get sick every morning doctors told me it was me but then I stopped brushing my teeth with the mint and I started to feel better until my teeth didn’t and I really needed a solution the problem was the only toothpaste that existed was mint so fast forward it’s 2025 October I found vanilla toothpaste wow that difference my teeth are slowly getting better less tooth aches less sensitivity and also I don’t have horrible breath! My stomach doesn’t get irritated and sick and I feel ready for my day absolutely uplifting and you’ve created a brand new experience for me as a person and this makes a huge difference to me I already spoke to my friends and they felt super similar

V34 Colour Corrector Serum

Love their branding and how fun the packaging is but the actual product itself is just OK. None of their flavored toothpastes leave your mouth feeling refreshed. I purchased 3 flavors of toothpaste and the whitening serum. The whitening serum is decent but just a short term fix.

I just tried the PAP+ whitening powder and these are my results after one jar; I was pleasantly surprised. It's a great way to easily add whitening properties to any toothpaste, and it doesn't have any overly noticeable taste. Their flavoured toothpastes have genuinely been a lifechanger for me, having a sensory aversion to mint. As someone who's teeth have long suffered due to dental care barriers including inaccessibility to non-mint toothpaste alternatives, HiSmile toothpaste, used alongside the PAP+ Whitening Powder, has enabled and motivated me to maintain regular dental care - I have almost every flavour, two more in the mail as we speak.

I was offered a significant discount in exchange for a positive review on this platform which in turn made me question the integrity of other positive reviews. It seems like brand is very good at marketing and have very active social media but what you see is a cleverly curated façade.  They hand out free products in premium gift boxes to influencers in exchange for positive videos however once you order the toothpaste you learn that gift box is actually not available for a real customer and toothpaste that supposedly tastes OMG and AMAZING in reality doesn't taste like much at all. 

Their latest Wonka flavour lasted literally only couple of seconds and after that it's just as if you are brushing teeth with saliva - no flavour, no freshness, just a runny consistency that keeps dribbling out of your mouth. Try posting that on their Instagram page and watch your comment disappear. 

Ok, so not all of their toothpaste is like that, I do in fact love some of other flavours. I have serious sensitivity to mint, it hurts my mouth like crazy and it's been real struggle to look after my teeth in the menthol dominated oral care world. Until there's a better alternative, I will continue using some of HiSmile flavours (such as Vanilla, Red Velvet and Mango Sorbet) however I can't say I like the brand. 

They are dishonest, there's no transparency, they evade questions and completely ignore you if there's a problem. They promise free samples but don't include them in the box. They overcharge you for shipping and for the product itself. Toothpaste contains only half of the recommended amount of Fluoride and there's no hydroxyapatite or any other ingredient that would warrant the high price.  I don't think it stands a chance to be ever recommended by a dentist. 

Unless you CAN'T use regular toothpaste, HiSmile is a novelty product for a premium price.

Also, as someone who fell for the hype and got excited about trying every new flavour - I ended up with more toothpaste than I can use. Sure, I gave some away. And sure, my own fault for not using my brain. But point is, HiSmile keeps releasing new flavours and sometimes they are highly limited and other times they blatantly refuse to answer whether they are limited or not to create a sense of FOMO and encourage people to rush and order more whether they need it or not. I don’t like being played. I want transparency and honesty.

And it seems like HiSmile doesn't really care about their customers, environment or anything other than profits. 

And like I said, they are trying to get positive reviews in exchange for 50% off. 

I can’t rate this time because I haven’t received my order for two weeks now, I contacted the delivery service but they said I should contact you, I tried to contact you but no failed several attempts. I don’t know what to do. My first experience with you was amazing but this time is yet a disappointment. Please help me get my order. Thank you 

My family loves Hismile. We love trying new flavors and having so many yummy non-mint options. I also like mixing flavors (mixing Chupa Chups Choco Vanilla with Banana is my favorite combo). My son loves Wonka flavor. Some of my other favorites are Candy Cane, Ice Pop, Cotton Candy, Lucky Charms and Grape Bubblegum. So far the only flavors I haven't love is Watermelon and Peach Iced Tea since they have some mint flavor mixed with the fruit which tastes off. Another thing I love is that this product doesn't contain additives and chemicals that are considered dangerous (according to Yuka app) so i feel safe with my family using it. One thing thats a bit annoying for me is once a flavor is out of stock they usually don't come back so if you miss or fall in love with a flavor you can't try it or buy it again.

Every flavor somehow keeps surprising me with how accurate the taste is to the thing its name for. Blue Raspberry is unbelievable 

The V34 serum is a good product for before occasions and the toothpaste is bursting with flavor making brushing a good experience no harsh ment flavor just clean and nice experience good for gifts also if you are traveling and looking for a cool gift it might be a good choice

Toothpaste doesn't have to be boring! I was a little skeptical before trying these, but all of the flavors I have tried have been realistic and delicious. The floride makes them hygienist approved! I may have even converted mine!

All I really care about is that my kids want to brush their teeth and if super fun toothpaste flavors is what it takes then I’m all for it. Let them choose the fun, and finally stop worrying about whether or not the y actually brushed or just wet their toothbrush and said they did. 

Great customer service they really go above and beyond to ensure I received my order after the first didn't arrive. The flavors I ordered all taste ad they should and are very nice. They are great for my autistic son to use which is why I was interested in these. 

I absolutely love the variety of flavors Hi Smile offers! I found them because I was looking for a toothpaste that could help with my aversion to mint flavors. My favorite is the cotton candy flavor because it tastes so sugary. The red velvet and vanilla re tied for a close second.

I had seen HiSmile products advertised for a while, particularly on TikTok, where they create toothpastes inspired by unusual flavour requests. While I was intrigued, I always felt that £15 for a single toothpaste was quite expensive.

That said, when HiSmile run their promotions (£1 per tube), it is definitely worth trying. I have since purchased several times, including two of their “mystery bags.”

First Mystery Bag Experience
The first mystery bag included the following flavours: Cinnamon Donut, Pink Donut, Strawberry, Cola, and Blood Orange. It also came with their V34 serum, PAP powder, two toothbrushes (blue and violet), and a tooth gloss.

Positives: The Blood Orange and Strawberry flavours were surprisingly enjoyable and reminded me of strawberry and orange cream chocolates from Quality Street or Roses. My children also liked the Cola flavour, even though I personally found it too sweet.

Negatives: The Cinnamon Donut and Pink Donut flavours were unpleasant, and I am sceptical about the effectiveness of the V34 serum — I noticed no difference after using it twice. Even HiSmile’s own promotional videos include small disclaimers that results are “dramatized.” I haven’t used the powder yet, and I have no interest in the tooth gloss.


Second Mystery Bag
Because I enjoyed the Blood Orange flavour so much, I decided to purchase another mystery bag, hoping to receive the same unreleased flavour. I didn't need to worry as the second bag was identical to the first, right down to the toothbrush colours. This was disappointing, as it doesn’t feel like much of a “mystery” if the bags are all the same.

It also became clear that the bundles mainly consist of products HiSmile want to clear out. For example, the Cinnamon Donut and Cola flavours had been part of the £1 promotion just a week earlier — but when I tried to buy Cola at £1, it was always out of stock. To add to this, the toothbrushes included can be bought from local chemists at a much lower price than HiSmile’s retail price, which suggests further markdowns may be coming.

Customer Service Concerns
After receiving the second bundle, I received this email from HiSmile:

“Hi Tom,
We know you have shopped with us a couple of times now, and we would love to know what you thought about your recent Flavoured Toothpaste purchase.

As a thank you, we wanted to give you an amazing offer of 50% off your next order if you leave a review on this website of your positive experience in the next 24 hours.

Once you’re done, take a screenshot of your positive review and send it through to us, and we will give you 50% off your next order as a thank you!

I am not a fan of incentivised reviews, particularly when they explicitly ask for a positive review, as it encourages bias rather than honesty. Still, I went ahead, left a neutral review (omitting the negatives), and sent HiSmile the required screenshot. Three days later, I had still not received a response. I have since sent two follow-up emails, both of which have been ignored.

Final Thoughts
HiSmile products can be fun to try during promotions, and some flavours (such as Blood Orange and Strawberry) are genuinely enjoyable. However, the mystery bags appear to be clearance bundles rather than a true “mystery,” and the effectiveness of their whitening products remains questionable.

The most disappointing part of my experience has been the customer service. Not only did HiSmile ignore multiple emails, but their practice of incentivising only positive reviews makes me sceptical of the many five-star ratings I see online.

In conclusion, I would recommend trying HiSmile products only when heavily discounted, but I would be cautious about relying on their reviews or expecting strong customer support.

Flavor is great and my teeth feel so clean! Definitely found my new brand. I am allergic to mint and I appreciate all the flavor options that are safe for me. They are vegan too and don’t have all the unhealthy additives either. 

While this product does a pretty good job at whitening my teeth, I wouldn’t say that it is necessarily worth the price. It is around $20, and for the price point it is an okay product. My other complaint would be the flavor of it. 

I used this to whiten my teeth and it works great. I love that it does not make my teeth sensitive and for date night, it works great that night! I have had people compliment me after using it and let me know my smile looked “brighter!”  

My dog Elmer says he likes my teeth after I use hissmile too :) -  DO NOTNUSE THIS ON DOGS...this was just a funny photo! 

Hismile used to make products focused on teeth whitening with innovative ingredients and for some reason they have just gone all gimmiky with crazy flavoured toothpaste. I just cant get behind candy floss toothpaste or red velvet cake toothpaste to name just a few. The packaging whilst nice to look at gets so messy. Its a pass from me.

I paid for two never got a single one or a refund  hear this is common for them to refuse refunds even with their money back guarantee they’re thieves. 

Genuinely the best tasting toothpaste I've ever used. All of the flavors are so much tastier and more comfortable to brush with than the normal mint you'd find at the grocery store, making it incredibly easy to brush every day. None of the flavors burn like a mint toothpaste would. They're a bit expensive though and shipping is a bit slow as they're not located in the US.

I'm surprised by all of the negative reviews as I - luckily - did not have that experience, however I didn't buy the whitening treatment set; I only purchased some of the flavored toothpastes. I purchased the toothpaste in "peach iced tea," "red velvet," and "watermelon" flavors. So far, I've only tried the peach one and I really like it. The flavor is really pleasant and it was a nice department from the usual flavors of toothpaste. I find myself brushing my teeth longer because the taste is so good and it leaves my mouth feeling really fresh. I would like to order from this company again as my package arrived quickly with no problems.
