I only wear thongs. Over the years, I’ve tried countless shapes, styles and materials that I’ve liked, but never found a combination that I loved. My perfect thong had some distinct characteristics –A high-waist, super low-cut shape. It stays in place without pinching my hips or bunching at the crotch, wearing seamlessly under tight or sheer clothing. Made with a stretchy fabric that looks chic and feels clean — moisture-wicking and opaque. One day in January of 2021, I decided to post my query to my IG story. My DMs exploded with women who were equally invested in my thong-quest, encouraging me to make it a reality… but I had no idea how to make a thong!? Then, like magic, an Instagram angel connected me with a brilliant pattern maker, who then introduced me to a production superstar, and we got to work! After almost 2 years of sourcing, sampling, pattern adjustments, peer reviews and perfecting, my take on the LBT is here, and I think she’s definitely something to gush over! ;) This revelation and its ripple effect are the essence of gush. It’s about the intimacy of developing shared passions with strangers. The confidence you find in camaraderie. The euphoria of making (something you) love. gush is starting with a thong, and will evolve with more products and experiences that thrill me, connect us, and surprise everyone else. So, my fellow thong lovers - thank you for inspiring me to bring my sexy lil dreams to life. I hope this tiny piece of fabric gives you the confidence to do the same! Not everyone gets it, but we do.
