Guittard Chocolate reviews and discussion

I really love this cacao powder! The flavor is rich and smooth, and it makes my smoothies, baking, and hot chocolate taste amazing. I like that it’s organic and super clean, which makes me feel good about using it daily. Definitely one of my favorite pantry staples!

I use Guittard's Extra Dark 63% Chocolate Chips, 74% Bittersweet Chocolate Baking Wafers, and their Cocoa Rouge Unsweetened Cocoa Powder in my kitchen. They are some of the best widely available organic/GMO-free chocolate products from an American company. Every chocolate chip cookie, blondie, or chocolate cake that I have made in the past seven years contained one or more of their products. I even recently ordered a bulk 6 lb package of their couvertures, from their Professional line, which are very similar to the retail baking wafers, but with more cocoa butter content for truffle-making and enrobing applications. Great quality, and will last me all season as I make lots of mousse and cookies for the holidays.

This is truly the epitome of an American premium chocolate brand. The chips, wafers, bars, and cocoa powder are the best I've ever used in my baking at home. You can tell that the products are nothing similar to the overly sweet/pumped-with-milk chocolate that other brands offer, especially the ones at the grocery store.
