  • These are marketed as expandable carry-on approved bags you can fill to the max and fold down to size when not in use. And, really, it's not dishonest. Granted, there are other bags for such a use out there, which may or may not suit one's needs better, but I do truly enjoy the portability here. It basically folds down and zips up into it's own front pocket - not without some difficulty, but still fairly smoothly - making it exceptionally easy to pack away, toss into a suitcase for use on a return trip, or whatever else. I do have real concerns about long-term durability when looking at the connecting pieces, especially on the more delicate parts, and even more so if repeatedly crushed into submission for the zip-up treatment or loaded down a lot. But, honestly, on the whole I like it quite a lot. The bag is a nice nylon, and so is at least theoretically fairly durable and able to hold up to weather and everything else. I've only had it a short time so far, and so can't really comment on longevity much at this point, but it's a decent bag thus far. It can get heavy depending what goes into it, of course - this isn't a wheeled suitcase - but you can really pack for a whole trip in this thing if you're mindful. The website is actually a bit misleading about cost, since they really can be bought for far less on, for example, Amazon, still from the company itself, and I don't like that fact much since it means any site sales will almost certainly still result in a higher total cost than just going elsewhere - so, just something to keep in mind if you prefer buying straight from smaller companies.
