Founded by Dr. Jeanne Retief — a human rights expert turned skincare formulator — FIGGI was born from Jeanne’s personal healing journey after being diagnosed with Panic Disorder. Anxiety made her skin hypersensitive, and existing products only worsened it. Combining her Advanced Certificate in Cosmetic Chemistry with her lived experience, Jeanne created FIGGI to offer conscious, effective, and deeply soothing skincare rooted in compassion. The line features antioxidant-rich South African green rooibos — nature’s gift for sensitive skin — and is completely fragrance-free, essential oil-free, and free from harsh additives. Every formula is intentionally minimalist, created to calm, hydrate, and protect. From the award-winning Miracle Mist to the deeply nourishing Evening Rescue Cream, FIGGI products are vegan, cruelty-free, and packaged in zero-waste, biodegradable containers.
