Reviews mention

  • Elegant, giftable packaging design
  • Complex, bitters-forward flavor profiles
  • Refreshing, lively carbonation
  • Vegan, gluten-free, low-sugar options
  • Overly bitter, perfumey aftertaste
  • Inconsistent, polarizing flavor execution
  • Earthy, incense-like aromatics
  • Questionable, minimal functional effects

De Soi earns mixed reviews: the brand delights many with complex, bitters-forward non-alcoholic aperitifs and standout flavors like Champignon Dreams, Très Rosé, Purple Lune, Golden Hour, and Italiano Spritz, yet others find them undrinkably bitter, overly earthy, or perfumey with unpleasant aftertastes. Reviews praise the elegant packaging, bubbly texture, and cocktail-like sophistication, but cite inconsistent flavor enjoyment, limited perceived “functional” effects, and occasional hangover-like reactions as weaknesses—making it a polarizing pick best for bitter-leaning palates.

  • Great brand a bottles but for me the flavour profile was too aromatic, a couple of glasses didn't seem to have any noticable effects.

  • I won’t get into the flavors - I’ve tried Golden Hour and Très Rose. Just here to say, both gave me a buzz and also both have given me a hangover feeling, drinking just one. Maybe it’s an allergic reaction - but it feels like a hangover. Digestive issues, headache, dragging the next day.

  • I really enjoyed all the flavors. They are sweet enough, yet not too sweet - and they all finish with a slight tangy taste. They are delicious over ice, and fun to serve pre-chilled in a champagne glass.

  • This drink was so bad. I tried the Champignon Dreams flavor... it tastes like Earth meets vegetables meets beets??? It was honestly horrible. Idk how anyone could drink this and actually enjoy it.

  • Horrible...why would anyone drink this? It really isn't healthy - it tastes nasty and it is expensive. If you want a non-alcoholic drink there are so many better options. I feel duped having purchased two bottles...50 dollars later both bottles ended up in the garbage.

  • I give this product one star as the packaging is beautiful. However, the contents are undrinkable. The first nose on opening the bottle is very perfumed. On tasting, initially there is a spiciness (not pleasant) followed by a bitterness (very unpleasant). I'll stick to drinking apple cider vinegar

  • So far just tried the Purple Loon. Ugh, tastes like I'm drinking liquid incense. Not good. Hoping one of the others is better. Too expensive to taste test like this.

  • I was very excited to try this however it’s been a week and the items haven’t shipped. I tried contacting them to get a delivery date or status - no answer.

  • I was so disappointed when I tried the can variety pack. The aperitif was horrible. I couldn’t even drink it. The golden hour flavor wasn’t as offensive, but still didn’t taste good. Do not recommend, especially for the price. I ended up throwing mine out. Such a waste.

  • Every single bottle / flavor was so unbelievably bad. The notes they gave that the drinks tasted like were not there at all. There were no refunds to me and it was probably the worst experience buying something I have ever had. Had to throw out each bottle after one sip. When trying to get sober, this was such a disappointing experience. Do not let the branding fool you.

  • Absolutely love De Soi - the cans are super convenient, the bottles make a gorgeous gift. Champignon Dreams is my favorite flavor. They offer the perfect mix of flavor & function.
