DARKAI reviews and discussion

I was very excited to purchase two pieces that I’ve had my eye on for a while, the mariner necklace and matching bracelet. On the website, you’ll be enticed with discounts and free shipping, but there’s also a small note that says does not include import fees. There is literally no details/insights as to what these might be by country. I was quite shocked to learn that for a $535 order I ended up paying $237 in import fees/UPS fees. This is extraordinary and I feel like there needed to be some sort of disclaimer on the website about this, other than “does not include import fees”. Currently, US government resources on tariffs do not provide any clear guidance on this. Not sure that DARKAI is at fault here, but I think they can do better if they’re going to market to US based customers.
