Chartreuse reviews and discussion

Chartreuse is one of those things I bought more for the novelty than anything else. It’s got a cool backstory, and the bottle looks great on a shelf, but I’ve never really figured out how to drink it without feeling like I’m sipping on a Christmas tree. It’s extremely herbal—almost aggressively so—and while I don’t hate it, it’s definitely an acquired taste. That said, it made for some fun college memories and weird cocktails, so I’ve got a soft spot for it. I just don’t reach for it often now.
