BETTER POUR PLEASE. Oil is always dripping down the neck after a pour. It's wasteful and disgusting. Brightland sells a $9 spout but I don't want to buy that. I want a bottle that I can buy and gift and not have to buy a spout for too. 

Also, please be more clear about recyclability :) For a long time I didn't think the bottles were recyclable. 

I love Brightland. I love gifting Brightland. I love it when my friends inevitably love Brightland. 

It's pricey but sometimes you need to splurge on special pantry items. It's worth it. Brightland is especially worth it. Highly recommend their chili, basil, and lemon olive oils because the flavor is very different from other nice olive oils. I honestly don't buy Alive and Awake because I'd rather use cheaper olive oil for day-to-day and then splurge on the really special stuff. 

I honestly can't believe it's taken me this long to try Brightland. I've given it as gifts to people, and seen it everywhere online. It took me walking into a store and seeing it on a shelf to bite the bullet. It was really marked up at that point, for what it's worth. The bottle was a bit smaller than I expected. Flavor-wise it was actually much hotter than I anticipated, I would necessarily suggest the ardor oil for dipping plan bread, it would probably be better on pizza or in smaller quantities. 

The vinegars and olive oil are incredible. The quality, flavor and packaging are all perfection. Ive tried olive oils at almost every price point and brightland olive oil is one of my favorite. 

Great olive oil, only if you can get it cheap! I’ve purchased this olive oil twice through a misfit market order 50% off. While it does wow aesthetically I can’t recommend it for the price. If you did want to splash out for it I would get one of the infused ones. 

I never knew olive oil could taste different but I truly love this brand. The bottle it comes in also makes pouring it feel luxurious. I use it for salads/drizzle and also have gotten as gifts for many!

Brightland has completely transformed how I experience cooking at home. Every bottle is a work of art—both visually and in flavor. Their olive oils are incredibly fresh, smooth, and vibrant, with just the right peppery finish that tells you it's high quality. I especially love the ALIVE and AWAKE oils for everything from salads to sautéing.

Their vinegars are equally impressive. The RAPTURE balsamic is tangy, rich, and nuanced—perfect for drizzling over roasted veggies or even desserts. You can really tell they prioritize transparency and sourcing with integrity. Knowing the oils are from California-grown olives and never processed or chemically refined gives me peace of mind.

Beautiful packaging, outstanding taste, and clean ingredients make Brightland a true staple in my kitchen. It’s a little luxury that makes every meal feel elevated. Highly recommend!


I love Brightland products and I've given them as gifts several times and turned at least two of those recipients into people who purchase them on an ongoing subscription. Because they're pretty pricy, I have transitioned to using them mostly as finishing oils (vs. in cooking/baking) where I really want to taste the olive oil in the dish. I love the lemon, garlic and chili flavors the most. The bottles are also lovely and I reuse them for plant cuttings and give those as gifts to upcycle.

Honestly, Brightland never misses. My ultimate Tried and true...The quality is unmatched and you can taste the difference. I’ve been a fan (and repeat customer) since they launched, and it’s become a staple in my kitchen. I make focaccia almost weekly, and Brightland is the only oil I trust to make it come out perfect every time. I’m a bit of a cooking snob these days and care just as much about what goes into my food as I do how everything looks on the counter, Brightland delivers on both. The bottles are beautiful, the flavors are fresh, and honestly, I won’t go back to grocery store oils ever again unless I'm desperate. The only downside is the price point but I just saw they launched an everyday oil and that is now on my list to test.

It is a cute, clean, and trusted brand. We ordered the Pizza box, a “picnic” sized Ardor chili flavored olive oil bottle, and a spout for easy pouring. We love the flavor of the balsamic that came with the pizza box, and the “picnic sized” bottle is both adorable and portable, also good for gifting (I imagine).
The price and the pizza olive oil being in a plastic vs. glass bottle is the reason for the reduction in stars. I really prefer my high quality oils in glass bottles!

Have been dying to try Brightland for a while so was waiting anxiously by the door for my package to arrive. And it did not disappoint! Packaging is stunning, even the boxed they come in. I love the thoughtful sets of things, they make great and easy gifts (bought some for my neighbors to thank them for dog sitting!). And the quality is really apparent here, especially when I tried side by side with my grocery story olive oil. Definitely a way to uplevel my everyday!

Brightland’s vibrant packaging arrived at my door on the very first day of summer, as if summoned by sunshine itself! I was so excited to host that same evening! The timing couldn’t have been more perfect! We kept things simple with a patio setup just as golden hour began to pour its warm light across the space. It was our first evening of summer dining under the open sky, and Brightland’s Luminous Capsule and Wildflower Honey were undoubtedly the stars of the evening!

The Luminous Capsule brought a radiant energy to everything it touched! The Parasol Champagne vinegar that is double fermented with California chardonnay grapes and juicy Navel and Valencia oranges paired so well with the arugula salad. It was citrusy and extremely complex in flavor! Many of us had never had anything like it! The Awake  olive oil drizzled over grilled peaches and pooled beside burrata glowed so beautifully too, as if they were bottled light. It was such a dreamy scene!

As for the honey jars, I will be hiding these to make sure they last as long as possible! The wildflower honey is thick, luxurious, and the kind that makes you pause and savor each bite. That evening, we drizzled it onto ricotta and warm baguette. I can't even put into words the joy of that first bite. What an experience! The orange blossom honey is lovely too, though I think it shines more in a simple homemade dressing. For this summer, though, I think I will be experimenting more with the Parasol and simple green salads.

There’s a quiet simplicity and joy to eating outdoors in summer, surrounded by girl friends, laughter, and good food. Brightland captured that feeling perfectly. Their products didn’t just complement the meal rather they became part of the experience, part of a core summer memory!

I love the Aurora Rosemary oil, and keep it on my kitchen counter for constant use upgrading basics. In general, I'm not a big fan of flavored olive oils because I think the flavoring is just used to mask less-than-optimal oils. But the rosemary is very subtle here, and you can still really taste the high-quality base of the oil. 

I got awake olive oil as a gift for my mother for the holidays. She loved it so much she ended up buying another bottle for herself. Plus the bottle is super cute. I’d definitely buy it again for myself next time.

Herby and genuinely spicy, which I wasn't fully prepared for in the best way. It's mostly jalapeno-forward and you feel it, but it's the kind of heat that makes you want more rather than reaching for water.
Funny enough I haven't put it on pizza yet. I've been drizzling it on pasta and on tomatoes with salt, basil, and ricotta and it's been perfect both ways. The flavor is bright enough that a little goes a long way.
Worth the price. My only thought is I'd be curious what they could do with a different pepper base. The jalapeño works but it makes me wonder what the ceiling is.

Gave this as a gift to a friend who is an avid home cook, and she loved it. It's great for giving someone something elevated that they will definitely use but may not splurge for themselves. Perfect for hard to buy for people as well. 

If anything, price? But go to a specialty olive oil/acid shop and you're going to see similarly priced bottles that are ugly. Honestly, Brightland might do itself a favor by educating users on use-cases between high-end olive oils and "cooking" oils. Maybe release a line of cooking oils in the future?

Brightland's products make you want to display your bottles of olive oil & vinegar in your kitchen. Here's what I really like about the product/brand:

1. Quality - US-sourced organic olives with no preservatives. The proof is in the pudding, er oil? You can taste the quality

2. Packaging - As I mentioned, glass bottles and wood toppers with beautiful designs, sometimes featuring artist collabs. These bottles are very proudly displayed on our bar cart

3. Taste - Look, it's tough to beat the ole classic of plain olive oil. BUT, I find that Brightland's flavoring is on point and complementary. I.e., they don't overwhelm the olive oil. Particularly love the Lucid lemon-flavored version!

Gorgeous packaging (and love the way Brightland collabs with illustrators) which in this specific category is a very nice perk because olive oil bottles are always out on the counter. Because of the price tag, I like getting the lemon olive oil flavor. It feels unique and special, and honestly the lemon flavor goes with almost anything.

Hot tip: this is a GREAT gift to anyone. 🎁

Packaging is great -- but I wish there an easier way to refill rather than constantly buying new bottles. 

I will never buy another brand of  vinegar - Brightland is my absolute go-to. 

I'm less passionate about their olive oil. It's a bit too expensive for day to day use, but is high quality & tastes great. 

Brightland is the perfect hostess gift! 

Definitely need to use with some sort of spout, the bottle & stopper as it comes isn't practical for everyday use - it will dribble everywhere and create a mess. 

Smells and tastes delicious while also in absolutely beautiful packaging. I find I use it for salads, avocado toast, bruschetta vs. cooking oil. That's when I can really taste the difference in the quality of the olive oil and it feels like a product that's worth it to me. Two bottles will last for a long time (~3 months) if you're not using it all the time, they're pretty medium sized. 

This stuff is LIQUID GOLD! I received the Basil Olive Oil as a gift and it has quickly become a staple in my kitchen. Bonus points for looking cute on your countertop! It's perfect for drizzling on pasta and salads. You can really taste the quality of Brightland's Olive Oil and they'll elevate your meals! I can't wait to try more!
