  Everything Peanut (the founder) bakes is absolutely incredible, but I have three favorites: Ube Buns: Peanut includes an instruction card to help you get the best experience - follow them! The bun has a delicate crust on the outside and is perfectly warm and gooey on the inside. They're incredible and potentially too easy to eat one after another. Brown Butter Milka Bar Cookie: This is my overall favorite and one of the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever had. (Peanut was gracious enough to make these as favors for my wedding.) There's just so much going on that makes these cookies special: literally strata of Milka pieces throughout, a dough that's delicious in its own right and very heavy on brown sugar, this ingenious shape - she must press them down with something - that creates a ridge on the outside so you can get a piece with slightly more crunch but have the thicker middle that stays chewy and gooey, and of course the sprinkle of salt on top. Marshmallow Double Dark Chocolate Cookie: A newer one that quickly became a favorite. Cookies with a chocolate base don't tend to be my favorites because the dough feels a little dry from the cocoa powder - not THIS cookie! It's so chocolately and decadent, and something magical happens to the chunk of marshmallow at the center - it caramelizes and seeps into the cookie a bit while also staying gooey. Just a wow all around. Even though I have three favorites, there are plenty more products that I think are worth mentioning. The Purple Cookie is an ube cookie coated in puffed crisps - it's an incredible combination of crunch on the outside and gooey on the inside. The Kyoto Matcha Almond Cookie captures all of the loveliness of matcha without any of the chalkiness that can happen with matcha when people don't know how to work with it.
