But which product are you using / leaning a review for? To the root hair serum? The supplements? Shampoo/conditioner? I’m trying to figure out which product is working best for the greys.

To The Root was formulated without oils or any unnecessary additives so I am very surprised to hear you are seeing residue as it is a super absorbent and light-weight formula. Not Today, Grey was formulated with the vitamins you listed as well as 9 other antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, including our proprietary blend, that would cost over $200 if you bought those all individually!

Hi Emily, thank you so much for your review and we are so happy to hear your boyfriend is seeing great results! 

I absolutely love Arey. I only found them about 6 months before my wedding, so my hairdresser lightened my hair to hide the greys while I used Arey's supplement and shampoo and conditioner to address them at the root. That means pictures don't really capture the difference, but when I look closely I can see that I have 50-60% fewer greys than I did before with no new grey growth. That's pretty significant at 37, and I consider it a huge win because I'm just starting to address them so late.

I used the scalp treatment (To the Root) for a while and I do think it was helpful for growth but I wasn't able to be consistent with it, so I phased it out of my routine. I also didn't care for the dry shampoo, but I think it would work well for others. I really liked the herbal smell and how well the powder blended into my hair, it just didn't help me with volume as much as aerosol dry shampoos do.

I think the conditioner is especially worth calling out because I have fine hair that gets weighed down by a vast majority of products, and this conditioner has never done that to my hair. My hair feels very soft and smooth but I'm able to get volume in it still.

I have the shampoo/conditioner set and supplement on a subscription through their website, and it's incredibly easy to manage with plenty of reminders before you're charged so you can delay or skip if you need to.


I have been taking the supplements for a while. I am not sure how effective they are but I feel good in taking them to ward off the hair aging process as long as possible.

I’ve been trying Arey Scrub Scalp Exfoliant for a few weeks, and I’m really impressed. It feels like a skincare-grade product and gives my scalp a reset. It exfoliates softly without any harsh grittiness, clears out buildup, and unclogs follicles. My hair looks cleaner, and my scalp feels refreshed after use. It’s a solid pick if you deal with oiliness or flakes and want a milder, comfy exfoliation.

I enjoy the experience of aray as a holistic product system. The scrub combined with the vitamins, shampoo, conditioner and topical spray leave me feeling like I am dealing with this particular issue in a way that is holistic and end to end 

I purchased a six month supply of Not Today Grey vitamins. I have been using them for about two weeks so far and am looking forward to seeing fewer grey hairs and fuller hair. I loved the sample masque that came with my order too!

I used Arey Wash Shampoo regularly, focusing on the scalp and letting it sit briefly before rinsing. It cleans thoroughly without over washing, leaving hair balanced at the root and softer through the lengths. Within the first few weeks, grey prone strands felt smoother and more manageable, which is often the first place hair begins to change.

Arey is clear that results take time, and that honesty matters. The Mela 9 complex is designed to support pigment preservation over the long term, and while it is still early, hair feels healthier, stronger, and more resilient overall. This feels like a considered investment for anyone at the beginning of greying. So far, so good.

These products are real life changers! I have visibly less gray hair within weeks of starting the supplement and serum, my hair is thicker and fuller, and bonus, I don’t have to wash it as frequently! I get compliments on my hair regularly often now! 

Hands down the best shampoo and  conditioner I have ever tried! Leaves my hair silky soft and I'm  hoping will stave off any future aging!

My hair has never looked better. It is thicker and fuller, and I actually have less grey hairs than when I started taking Arey months ago.

I have had an incredible experience using Arey. I was initially interested in the product to delay the onset of grey hair. After a month of using the product, I started to notice that my hair was thicker and glossier. As someone who uses bleach color, I am always looking for supplements to improve the quality of my hair, and I have never experienced such a quick and noticeable impact as I did with Arey. I took the pills on an empty stomach in the morning and never felt any irritation and never experienced any negative side effects. Highly recommend! 

I am so happy I found this product at this stage in my life because those greys were just starting to creep in! And after a couple of months of taking Arey I have definitely noticed that my hair feels healthier and isn't falling out as much. 

This is a great product! Not only has there been no increase in the amount of gray hairs I'm finding, my hair is also appearing more shiny and feels more soft!

My hair is healthier than it has been since I became a mom.  My curls are prettier and less frizzy.  I appreciate that Arey doesn't upset my stomach.

My back, neck, chest and face broke out with acne for the first time in my life.  I went to see a dermatologist and she told me it was probably the biotin in the product - she then said there is no supplement that will prevent grey hairs… I stopped using immediately.

This gets 5 stars from me! My boyfriend is starting to go grey and he just turned 30. He has been complaining about it for a while so I started looking up if there was anything we could do about it. I found Arey on Instagram, was skeptical, but ended up ordering some for him! 90% of the grey is gone. I highly recommend!

3 months into the system and so far I'm mostly underwhelmed.  The Root Serum leaves a ton of residue on my scalp that clogs my pores, causing dandruff and acne.  The Not Grey Today supplement is basically just a Vitamin B + Selenium + Iron + Copper supplement for 2x the price of buying those vitamins individually at a pharmacy or on Amazon. I'd imagine Arey works great for those whose greys are caused by vitamin/mineral deficiencies, but otherwise won't do much.
