I have 3 pair of the Kizik "Lima". I bought the first pair (white) after knee surgery in 2021. After wearing them a few days I noticed that the fabric covering the toe box had begun to pucker. It kept getting worse and so I contacted Kizik to tell them I thought I had a defective pair. It took several weeks of emails and sending photos to get their attention. At first they told me that the shoes were just dirty and I was experiencing normal wear. After several more emails they finally were able to see the problem and agreed to swap them out for me. The second pair (tidepool) are great and I really like them so when a friend asked me what I wanted for my birthday, I asked for another pair (merlot). they arrived a few days later and they were also defective--same problem as the first pair. I reported it to Kizik and they told me again that there was nothing wrong with the shoes. its like beating my head against the wall trying to get them to even acknowledge there is a problem. All in all, this tells me that they have poor quality control and that they do not stand behind their products. Its a great idea to have a slip in sneaker but their execution is poor. The shoes are comfortable and the colors are nice but they don't hold up and they look bad when I am wearing them. Two of the 3 pair I own are defective which is pretty bad odds in my opinion. I cannot recommend them.
