Vuori is quality stuff. I own a pair of pants, a shirt or two, and a sweatshirt. Everything is really high quality, looks pretty good on. I know a bunch of people who almost exclusively wear Vuori, but the style isn't an everyday for me, but great for workout/athleisure needs. Very much athleisure, but maybe more accommodating or geared towards men (or non-gender specific) whereas a lot of the other great athleisure brands. I've found the fits pretty much true to size for contemporary clothes, compared to other American brands.

Really like the ginger lemon flavor (tastes kind of like ginger ale). I have found this flavor relatively hard to find, which is a shame because none of the other flavors really appeal to me. I've noticed maybe mild to moderate support on digestion, but it's not like you are going to have a digestive issue if you have more than one in a day. Think this is mildly better than the Poppi flavors I have liked the most, but I think there is still room to improve in this category.

Tate's is a Hamptons/NY classic. Though I generally like thicker, chewier cookies, the crisp and thin Tate's chocolate chip cookies have a special place in my heart. It also seems like they use high quality ingredients when you taste them (chocolate in particular) If thin, crisp, chocolate chip cookies sound good to you, look no further. If you need a thick, chewy cookie, Tate's are not for you.

I've owned 2+ pairs of Brooks sunglasses and one pair of 10th anniversary Brooks sunglasses. Only had to replace from user error (dropping on lenses, getting scratched etc.). If you ask me, Garrett Leight makes the best (cool) sunglasses for your money. The quality of the lenses and the frames are quite good, and obviously less costly than Oliver Peoples, Jacque Marie Mage, and that ilk. One thing I do not like about Garrett Leight, is the customer service and the people they employ in their stores. Classic issue of a "cool" brand trying to get "cool" people to work in their stores, vs. people that are nice, friendly, or good at customer service. I've been to both locations in NYC, and at least twice in Venice. Always the same story. The one year warranty is cool, I broke my folding part on one side of my frames, and they fixed it for something relatively nominal/under $100 (or offered me a significant discount on replacing). They told me it would take two weeks to fix them, it took closer to a month.

Have owned a pair of Pelli's for about a year. Almost always wear them with socks, and only around the house. The cushioning is really nice and they are still very comfortable, even a year and a wash later. But they do smell. I've washed them, according to the instructions, and it only mildly dissipated the smell and it came back. Would recommend the Pelli, and the cushioning/comfort generally, if you can pick them up on sale. Full price, the value proposition for the Pelli is not there when they probably need to be replaced within a year.

    S’well

Ah, S'well. The water bottle that changed everything for me... Only kind of kidding. I have owned the large and medium sizes, in the stainless steel color as well as the special edition "precious metal" looking ones. S'well bottles are not perfect but they are pretty damn good for most people for every day use. The two biggest issues are with the paint/decorative finish coming off, and denting. I was aware of the chipping issue before buying, so only have bought the "stainless steel" versions, which still have a coating that comes off annoyingly. But once it is off, and as it is coming off, stainless looks much better than a chipped painted one. While the chipping issue you can deal with or make your peace with, the denting issue was much bigger for me. Denting sounds like a purely cosmetic issue, until you have dents on the bottom of the bottle/vessel that make it so it cannot stand up (this is part of the weakness of the bottle-bottom design that was S'well's signature). My S'wells have all kept my drinks hot and cold for exceptionally long. It is true that cleaning can be difficult, in particular the rubber piece on the cap that forms the tight seal with the bottle. Terribly hard to clean well and keep clean, while also avoiding soap residue. Cleaning and denting are why I am not still using my S'well bottles, and why I have yet to replace them.

Mind-blown. Tried these before the rebrand, and have re-ordered since. Shockingly good. If you too have enjoyed the unparalleled delight of well-made soup dumplings in maybe Flushing, NY or Din Tai Fung, or some other dim sum or soup dumpling Mecca, only to try Trader Joe's soup dumplings only to find them utterly wanting...then MiLa is for you. If you even thought the Trader Joe's soup dumplings were good, these are also for you! Also, the noodle dishes they sell too are also delicious. In particular love the dan dan noodles. Their scallion oil dumpling sauce is also worthy of joining your cart, the vinegar and chili crisp are totally good too but nothing to write home about (and I prefer others tbh). Even if you make your own soup dumplings at home, I would still consider trying these. It is so easy to steam, and they are better than any soup dumplings I've gotten delivered, and almost as good as the best soup dumplings I've had at dim sum. On my first order, I had some issue with the discounts they were offering not showing up in my cart. After some back and forth, their customer service sent me an email invoice to pay with the exact amount it should have been discounted. Definitely respected them for that move and how quickly they were able to offer that solution. Shipping was mostly smooth, one of my orders was at the tail-end or arguably missed the initial delivery window, but still showed up frozen because of their heavy duty packaging. One more thing worth mentioning, founders include 2nd generation Chinese Americans and the dumplings taste more than authentic enough to me.
