New and emerging brands, curated by the Thingtesting team

Fragrance is having a moment this week, with four new brands at once. Liberation of Flowers pairs its perfumes with original Ashley Longshore paintings, Last Parfum is handmade and small-batch, Amoln has flown in from Sweden with candles and incense to match, and Blomb is quietly undercutting all of them, which feels almost rude.

The homewares, meanwhile, have gone sculptural. Noiro Studio blows glass into lighting, En-pieces makes squiggly tube lamps it calls "emotional souvenirs," which is a lot to ask of a lamp, and Mrbl Goods has launched with exactly one product: a hairbrush hand-carved from a single block of Calacatta Viola marble, for anyone who wants their blowout to have consequences. In accessories, Bjorli is selling Scandinavian sauna hats knitted from baby alpaca, in case your head has been underdressed, and Sweet Hat Co is doing vintage prep, no horse required.

Elsewhere, Flynny's is shipping German-steel razors out of Queenstown, Onform wants to replace your entire supplement shelf with a single sachet, Drink Tesso has canned the espresso martini with tequila instead of vodka, and Butternubs makes French sablés under a name you'd resent being called. Our wildcard is Luffu, a "smart family information manager" that gathers everything about your relatives and sends you alerts. Sleep well.
