10 Brands Spotted

New and emerging brands, curated by the Thingtesting team

There's plenty of discourse at the moment about the rights and wrongs of selling skincare to young children — but what about sports performance gummies? Playr, a new supplements brand, creates gummies for kids aged 8 to 18, which are aimed at serious young atheletes. It will be interesting to see how the product is perceived by the wider market, particularly as more young people seem to be getting into sports traditionally reserved for adults, like weight training.

The other thoroughly modern brand we found this week is Anoria, a wearable device for tracking your emotions. We also found Mamacool, which makes cooling pads for recent mothers, Aplomb Perfume, whose scents are inspired by real people, and Waglab, which makes mix-and-match toys designed to give dogs a brain and body workout.

We also have a few finds with notable founders, such as, Asha, a new clothing brand from TV personality Tasha Ghouri, HiNote, a daily drink mix brand from singer-songwriter Carrie Underwood, O.Piccola a skincare-first beauty brand by creator Olivia Jade, and Georg Lux, the eponymous fashion label from the former creative director of French fashion house Leonard Paris.

Lastly — have you ever wished your gum was doing more than just freshening up your breath? Life Loop is here for you.
